We are going into our 7th week. The toilet is still broken most of the time. The parking is still non- existent. The noise is still horrible. No one should be coming. Each week when I ask if they are tired, they say no. Each morning and evening they still keep coming. Understand we are preaching next to an auto repair shop. This is real store-front ministry. This is what your Grandma and Grandpa did for Jesus.
Over 200 saved. A Mother looked up with tears in her eyes as she saw her 25 year old son get saved. Another mother saw her son lead four more teenagers to the Lord. A few weeks ago it might have been jail, now it's ministry. A young mother cries when she sees her 3 year old baby speak for the first time. A couple saying their marriage vows. A woman bringing in her Buddha idols and turning to Jesus. A woman with brain cancer is healed. A young girl with bone cancer is healed. A woman with pain in her whole body is healed. A woman is healed of prescription addictions. A woman in her seventies said "I wish I had known this fifty years ago" A mother said she got her children back off drugs. A young couple walked up to me after 10pm and said,
"We got here late; can we still get saved? We can't wait till tomorrow," A woman jumps up and says, "I was a rebel for the devil; now I will be a radical for Jesus". A man is healed of a bad back Another woman who was going to have surgery for a bad knee is healed. Another person says, "I feel love for the first time." Just as she finishes, another starts to cry and say she has her first love back for Jesus. In a morning meeting, eight people jump up and say they want to get saved.
People are getting gold teeth. Yes, I said that right. I give God the glory. People are getting gold teeth. I put this out on one of my last e-mails, and people said I had gone off the deep end. They want to know, "Why? Why gold teeth?" A deacon of a large church of 2000 people said I had gone too far. Then I spoke on my only Saturday off at his church. I think God likes to do that to us. At the end I said, "Lord, confirm your word. Okay, who wants gold teeth?" Many raised their hands. Over 20 people got gold teeth, gold crowns and gold fillings. They started screaming as they ran to a mirror to see. The next night the deacon came up to me and asked for forgiveness. He said he thought I had gone off the deep end. Now, the Lord showed him he was wrong.
Why gold teeth? It hurts your pride. You cannot fake it. You cannot do it on your own. It's called a miracle. When it happens to you it is humbling. You want to cry because you know you don't deserve it. The spiritual pride of the body of Christ is strange to me. Who are we to tell God what gifts He wants to give? Who are we to demand an explanation? Who are we to question our savior? Why gold teeth - Why not!
