They came with me, sat by me, & when Jerry had an altar call to anybody who wanted to come back home to Jesus, I went forward, got saved.
I'm so grateful somebody out there showed me God's unconditional love & listened to God's voice & called me.

Jerry Gaffney came to Raymond, WA & [a friend] invited me to come listen to him. I nicely thanked her with the thought, "No thanks." (Especially in a church.) God started speaking to my heart - I had a big struggle inside myself. Jerry had been there a week & by Monday evening of the 2nd week I finally said to God, "Fine, if you want me there, have somebody call me tomorrow & invite me." (Knowing full well I wouldn't be home to receive a call."
I was at work the next day, the phone rang, it was {another friend]. I work in a public place so I said, "Hi - what can I do for you?" There was a long silence... then, "Well, I don't know why I'm calling you." I was instantly convicted by God to go. I laughed & said, "I know why you called me & I'll be at the meeting tonight."
They came with me, sat by me, & when Jerry had an altar call to anybody who wanted to come back home to Jesus, I went forward, got saved, and my emotions were healed. Other than anger my emotions were dead. I can now feel all those healing emotions of joy & sorrow again. I'm so grateful somebody out there showed me God's unconditional love & listened to God's voice & called me. Praise God!
