To say that I was healed and changed for life seems so insignificant but God will and can change anyone at any time.....

This is a story about a sovereign act of God. How in four days he changed my life and it is a witness to the power of prayer of faithful friends and a loving wife. Sunday my wife had to work and had casually mentioned about attending an evening service. We had missed the morning service. I said yeah sure why not. So on the way to church she started telling me a little (very little) about the man who would be speaking tonight. She left out the part that he had the Holy Spirit working on him, with many of the gifts in use. She just said he was a little different.
This was a new church for me so I wanted to sit in back. The service had already started and he (Jerry) started moving around the church stopping and taking people by the hand. God revealed their life and spiritual situations to him. Jerry started toward the back and I just hoped that he would just pass by, like God hasn't noticed that I'm dying inside and spiritually dry.
(Note) I had opened myself up to attack. Everything in my life seemed on hold. I wasn't right with God. I have been blessed with a wonderful praying wife. She and others saw I was confused by the enemy. They all went to prayer, God was moving and I didn't know it yet. This kind of sets the stage of where I was at with God and the importance of the miracle to come and part Jerry and others, many of the people at Eastgate, played in all of this. Now back to the story.
Yes Jerry walked right up to me and told me that I had been through the fire. He told me that I used to teach and that I should be doing that again. Jerry also said I needed prayer and the filling of the Holy Fire because I was confused and dry. Later he called anyone forward who wanted prayer and filling with the Fire. I was flooded in the Spirit and prayed for. That night was the beginning of what was to come. We had trouble sleeping that night. We were so full of the Spirit. I said we have to go Monday night. I couldn't wait after being so blessed.

Monday night: July 1
I'm not really sure exactly what Jerry talked about that night. I started to feel the presence of God's Holy Spirit very quickly. My wife and I went up for prayer. Jerry stated "You are married aren't you" this was not a question but a bold statement. He told me to take her hand and repeat the prayer after him. HE RE-MARRIED US! While he prayed I felt the confusion leaving. Jerry got really excited while praying for us, he jumped back and said "oh God show these two who they are in You". He saw us in the Spirit and was so excited and told us that God was going to use us to minister. We were flooded in the Spirit again and prayed over by others, the prayers were perfect for each. We were so blessed again, later that night we both were so up and full of the Spirit it was impossible to sleep. God had really blessed our marriage. Jerry told us to come back again on Tuesday night.

Tuesday night July 2
Jerry talked about blessings and the power of being filled. I couldn't wait to go forward for prayer, the altar area was full of people - we just crowded in. THEN SOMETHING EXTRAORDINARY HAPPENED. Jerry called me to come up to him, he reached out for my hand and his eyes seemed to look directly into my soul. He said "you have been drinking the last two days" I said not so (rather confused), he laughed and said of the Spirit, my wife though nobody but my husband would have thought that, she just laughed and shook her head. Jerry lowered his voice and held on to my hand tightly (most likely because I would have fallen over with a mega-dose of the Holy Ghost). Then much to my utter amazement, he told me "you will do what I do". He smiled at the look I must have had on my face. He said "yes, you will do this and more". He told me to watch. He waved his hand and said Jesus touch. The lady fell over flooded in the Spirit. He said that you don't even need to touch them. He then pointed to a man 10 feet away who had his eyes closed and was unaware as Jerry pointed and said Jesus touch. He went down. I realized later Jerry was training me. He showed many ways God touches His people. He then touched me on the forehead and prayed. I went down under God's Spirit. He called for several men to pray over me. Later Jerry told me to come back tomorrow. I was stunned at what was happening and so blessed. My wife and I talked about everything that had happened. We figured that down the road something would happen as God prepared me. We were excited beyond anything we could imagine. The rest of the night I just wondered. I decided to take Wednesday off from work and go to the morning teaching. I had received peace and the end of my confusion and had clarity of mind. Jerry had really loved on me and been a friend also. This is as good a place to say that many people had been praying for me - real intercession. One who I'll mention here -Anne -because she was there for everything and was seeing her prayers being answered, although none of us was ready for Wednesday night.

Wednesday morning:
I decided to take off from work and my wife had to go in for about half the day. She was going to meet me later at the church. I talked to Anne really for the first time, to thank her for standing in the gap for me. We shared what happened and looked forward to the teaching that afternoon. Jerry had a communion service like none other I've been to. He prayed that it would be just as it was 2000 years ago, when Jesus had blessed the first one. I lifted the bread while Jerry prayed and felt the touch of God. I thought I was going to fall over flooded in the spirit. Jerry prayed the same when we drank the juice.
Jerry asked who wanted to receive a double dose of the Holy Ghost. Of course everyone did. Jerry walked around and started to pray. I could feel the presence of God so overwhelming that it was hard to stand. I closed my eyes and prayed and lifted my hands up. The Holy Spirit, thru Jerry, touched both my hands on my palms which I felt as heat. Jerry prayed for me. Some were drunk in the Spirit - what a total feeling of freedom and what God wants us to be like. I stood up front and smiled so big, my wife and Anne wondered if I was the same man. I wish I could put it into words but I just give God the glory. So much happened that night that it would take many more pages and I'm trying to be brief but to the point.
God completely changed me in 4 days. My wife and I are excited as we pray and look forward to what God is doing. WHEN I PRAY MY HANDS GET HOT AND ANYTIME I SAY JESUS OR THINK ABOUT JESUS MY HANDS STIR. I'm not sure where this will lead. I was wondering if this was just a 1 time occurrence but the other night in a dream I was ministering to a group of people.
(Note this dream has come true. I have beeen praying for many people in the ongoing Revivals).
then I awoke and put my hands on my forehead felt the heat myself. I was wide awake at this point and got up for a moment and then I touched my wife in her sleep and she jumped though did not wake. I have been blessed beyond anything I could imagine.
To say that I was healed and changed for life seems so insignificant but God will and can change anyone at any time, only a handful of people know the whole story and all the left-out details, but they have seen our Great God move in 4 days. Truly signs and wonders are following His people
