The Radiologist reported that he was surprised to find nothing but normal tissue showing on the x-rays.
We have never felt the power and presence of God nor seen a move of the Holy Spirit as we did during the Revival. The testimony of the physical healing is given below, but the inner healing that took place was probably more significant - physical illness can destroy our body, but unforgiveness and bitterness can kill our spirit.
The greatest lesson we learned during the 5 weeks, was to get back to the basics of prayer and a personal relationship with God. We learned to "press in" to His presence- to get to know Him as David did. We saw that God wants a vessel with clean hands and a clean heart and one that will come to Him as a little child- believing that, with Him, all things are possible. We know that God can use any one of us, if we put Him first in our lives and do everything we do for His Glory. Most of all - God doesn't move without earnest PRAYER!
Physical Healing:
A few months before the Revival I had a routine mammogram. The x-ray revealed a large area of abnormal tissue. I was immediately called back for more extensive x-rays and faced with the possibility that a malignancy was developing. During the revival I received notification to come in for another series of x-rays to evaluate any change in the suspect area of tissue. Jerry prayed for healing on Tuesday. The Revival was supposed to end on Friday of that week, so I wanted an appointment right away to confirm my healing - I knew the Lord had healed me! After being told that it was impossible - I got an appointment on Friday morning. I asked the Lord for favor with the medical staff so that I could have my x-rays read before I left - another supposed impossibility. But, as we know, nothing is impossible with God. The x-ray technician remembered me and agreed to ask the Radiologist to read my x-rays before I left. The Radiologist reported that he was surprised to find nothing but normal tissue showing on the x-rays. PRAISE THE LORD
Our lives will never be the same - we thank God for the opportunity to be a part of this great move of His Holy Spirit.
