My Dear Friends:
I saw the most wonderful demonstration of the power of the Holy Spirit last night. About 20 kids had been bussed into the meetings last night. Most of them had no real church background. I was told that they would be leaving at 9:00 PM.
The worship service was so wonderful that it took us into 8:00 PM. Most of these teenagers had not seen the Lord move that way before. I had only gotten into my message by 8:30, so there was not time to develop any rapport with them. At 8:45, only 15 to 20 minutes into my message, the Lord said to have an altar call.
All the kids from the bus came forward. They were between the ages of 14 - 17, so these were not just young kids. As I walked up and down the altar, I asked each one about their relationship with Jesus. Most had none.
Then, it happened. I asked who really wanted to know Him - who really wanted to make Him their Lord and Savior. I asked who had never asked Jesus into their hearts before. Almost all raised their hands.

each one of them. You must remember these are not church kids. They had never seen people touched by God. They had never seen anyone fall out under the power of the Holy Spirit before. They had never heard about speaking in tongues, or even knew what it was. As I walked by each one of them, they crumpled to the floor and most started to cry.
As the love of Jesus was being revealed to each one of them, they did something I did not expect. They started to speak in that heavenly language only the Holy Spirit can give. Can you imagine? In 15 minutes,
the Holy Spirit did more than some have had in a life time of searching. My God is an awesome God! I will never forget their faces. They looked shocked, surprised and amazed at this wonderful touch of God. A spirit of peace seemed to settle on all of these kids. I know they will never be the same. They were saved, healed, delivered and filled with the Holy Spirit in the twinkling of an eye. I love my Jesus so much. I can't wait to see these kids again.
My dear friends, if you are hungry for a touch of God; if you need a refreshing; if you have a friend who needs a touch, please, come. Something new is going on this year. Between the meeting at Sherwood
and here, we have seen almost 300 people give their hearts to Jesus. We have seen cancer flee, backs healed, and deaf ears opened. Oh, my God, it is almost like Bible times.

Again, my heart is just leaping for joy. This is proof that tongues is the evidence of the Holy Spirit. These kids knew nothing of the Holy Spirit, and knew nothing of tongues. Yet, my precious Lord filled them the day they got saved
