My Dear Friends:

This happened while I was in Dalhart, Texas.

This young man will still need a lot of prayer. Will you join me?

I do not know all the details. From what I have been told from friends and family members, this is what happened.

He was a soldier. He came home after the Gulf War. His step-dad had become his best friend but his step-dad had a problem. What happened next was everyone's nightmare. As his step-dad was beating his mom, he stepped in.

Dear Jerry:

“The evening service on Tuesday, July 15, 2003, God moved and broke the chains that bound my 23 yr old son.......Our home and family was destroyed on May 9, 2003 by satan (so he thought).

A series of events took place that evening when I wouldn’t give into my husband. He began to beat me. My youngest daughter… ran next door to get her brother…
… my son and my husband … had fought outside then later in the back of the house. There was a gun involved.

Only God knows why and reason the gun went off and my husband was shot. [My son] was arrested.

My husband died at the E. R… [My son] began screaming and yelling at the jail when he was told [my husband] had died.

I visited [my son] and through all the tears, there was no forgiveness from me…

On Tues, July 15, Bro. Jerry called [my son] out of the crowd and spoke with him… I was praying in my spirit and tears were falling. My sis-in-law and I were so intense. I knew in my heart and spirit that this was my son’s only time to be freed. My heart was being squeezed so hard with every bit of love for my son being released until the chains could be broken. It was the only time I felt God’s hand over everyone praying together for one soul…

My son came home to Jesus. Thank you God!!!

At home, [my son] was full of laughter and was just like a small child going on and on what God did for him.

My son’s face shines again, and tears flow not of sadness but of love from our God.

[My son] is currently out on bond from which God intervened… Praise God! God’s will be done and peace, love, joy and happiness abides once again in my home.

Yes, my husband is gone and dearly missed also, but the Sunday before [my husband] accepted Jesus as his Savior. He was five days from hell… Satan lost again!!! He is defeated…

Pray for favor for [my son] when he goes to court!!
