It has been such a thrill to watch people come night after night for 4 weeks and sit or lay in the presence of God for hours not wanting to leave the sweet presence of the Holy Spirit.

To the Church of Jesus Christ at large:
Yesterday wound up four weeks of revival here with Mr. Jerry Gaffney and I must say that this is the first real Pentecostal revival I have seen in the Northwest ,and I have been here as a Christian for twenty-one years. There have been signs and wonders here to the extent that other pastors are calling me with great concern that what is happening here is not of God and that the people from their pastorate are being affected. What I can't understand is, that their people have a new zeal for God, and a hunger for His Word, and fellowship with Him through prayer. Over 100 people have been baptized in the Holy Spirit, and far over 200 have been saved or reclaimed for Jesus.
The morning meetings have been attended by people from a variety of Churches including two of our own movement and to say that these meeting have been powerful and the presence of our Lord there would be a gross understatement of truth. The morning meetings have been largely attended by people hungry for God, although some have been saved and baptized in the Spirit in these meetings. Many healings and deliverances have taken place in these day time meetings also. Some of these meetings lasted untill after 3 P.M.
It has been such a thrill to watch people come night after night for 4 weeks and sit or lay in the presence of God for hours not wanting to leave the sweet presence of the Holy Spirit. Crowds have gathered at the Church at 6 P.M. for a service that starts at 7 P.M. to the degree that there is no available seating in our little facility by 6:15. They come and they pray and they see God answering their prayers.
It isn't Church as usual, even for our Church which has always had a reputation for being alive, and I hope it never returns to church as usual.
I will readily admit that a lot of what I have seen and heard has challenged a lot of my understanding, but I know it's Gods will for over two hundred people to be saved and approximately 100 to be baptized in His Spirit. I know it's His will for people to be healed and delivered, therefore ,I know that we have been in the will of God these four weeks.
In reality we had no real youth group prior to these meetings. We had several youth that we have not been able to touch in any real way. Our youth have been baptized in the Holy Spirit and are now laying hands on people and seeing them healed and baptized in the Holy Spirit. For the first time in the five years I've been in this Church, I feel that we have a real opportunity to have a spiritually productive youth group.
Jerry has an open invitation here. I highly recommend him as a man of integrity and ideals not to mention the anointing of God for this particular ministry.
