Well you came and you prayed and said things would be better in a couple of days. Only God knows how much I wanted that to be true.
Dear Jerry,
Three weeks ago, my son, Christion, told me that you were speaking at his church. He said that you were a Spirit filled man from the words you spoke and the things you did. I have come to listen when my son speaks of God or about God. So we came the following night, enjoyed the worship and the message you gave.
Then you walked up to me and gave several words of discernment about me, which was right on target. You then asked me to go up to the alter. I knew what would happen; 1) you would talk and pray over me, 2) then you would put your hand on my forehead and push me backwards 'till I fell. But I went up anyway just in case it would be for real.
Well you came and you prayed and said things would be better in a couple of days. Only God knows how much I wanted that to be true. You told me all that was going to be lifted off of me. I was in deep prayer when I fell on my back without you even touching me. I TRULY FELT THE PRESENCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. I COULDN'T EVEN GET UP RIGHT AWAY, but I finally made it back to my seat.
It was towards the end of the meetings that you started giving words of discernment about my daughter, Denise. I was not in agreement of what you were saying about my daughter! I knew it couldn't be true. I started to look for a way out without causing a scene with you. As luck would have it you cut it short and told Denise that all would change in a couple of days.
The following evening, my wife and I returned with mixed feelings, which soon turned for the worst. You named several people whose ministries you supported, in which my wife was in total opposition. I had to snicker, knowing what my wife would do. And she did!
My wife immediately stood up and walked out. We've been listening to this radio station at 3 PM every day, and they are against some of the teachings of the men you spoke about. My wife has even thrown many books out because of what this guy said.
I stayed behind to listen to your message. Then you picked women from the church and had them go to the alter. Boy, was I glad that my wife left because those women became Spirit filled and began laughing. The meeting was almost over when I left. On our way home my wife threatened that if our church did something like that, she would never attend another Assembly of God church again.
The following day, I was troubled of what I saw and heard adn even spoke to the pastor who is a good friend of mine. He put me at ease and explained much of what took place.
When I got home I spoke to my wife. She had no intentions of returning and I felt likewise, until my son, Christion, asked me to go with him. Knowing Christion's relationship with God I went, but reluctantly. I told my wife to see if my daughter was hurt from what you said about her.
My daughter and I went to the meeting prayed up. You prayed over my son and he went down. Then you asked me if I wanted praying over and then I went down. I knew that was all for real.
JERRY, I'M SORRY FOR EVER DOUBTING YOU. AND I THANK GOD THAT HE USED YOU FOR VERY SPECIAL PURPOSES.
When I finally got up, I saw my wife and daughter sitting in the back row. I started praising the Lord. My wife spoke to my daughter and she said that EVERYTHING YOU SAID WAS TRUE.
The past 3 1/2 weeks has just overtaken my entire family. God has opened the flood gate on all of us. I have rejoiced in the Lord daily. NEARLY ALL OF MY WIFE'S SIDE OF THE FAMILY HAS COME TO THE LORD. I HAVE SEEN THE FIRE IN MY SON TURN INTO A BLAZING BEACON, AND HIS WIFE BECOME HIS WIFE IN CHRIST. My daughter has a fire for God, that she's been waiting for such a long time. My wife has overcome so much stuff
