Are Mormoms going to Heaven?

Some major Christian leaders are saying that they think Mormons will be in Heaven with us...or they don't have enough info to say they won't be. Every time I converse with a Mormom they have loop holes for every doctrine I bring up to them that is not Biblical. They deny it, explain it away, say there was new revelation and they don't teach that anymore. Traditionally, Christians knew and believed the truth about Mormoms...that they taught Jesus and the devil were brothers and other false doctrines, that they did not believe those esentials of the Bible that would make one a true follower of Christ. So, I really, really think we need a Biblical persepctive on this. Does anyone have some info, research, etc. on what the Mormom's really believe about salvation? Are they saved through Jesus blood for the forgiveness of sins and by grace through faith? Is the Holy Spirit their teacher and guide and a BEING, not just a force? Do they not add things (we need to do) to what should be a simple belief in Jesus death, shed blood, burial and resurrection for our salvation followed by repentance (turning from) our sin? Please share any truths you have about how they truly believe one becomes saved. And do they still believe they will become a god and people a planet in opposition to our belief in going to spend eternity with Jesus in Heaven, where they neither marry nor are given in marriage? Can really use some insight and info on this...as I think all of us can, so we are not confused on this issue and can continue to defend the truth to those who preach another Jesus.

That might be a good place to start. What are there beliefs about Jesus? Who is Jesus to them?

Hi Sis-

Absolutely not they will not be in Heaven. I've been thru several of thier classes when invited by Mormon friends. They teach a man will die and become a god himself. When women die, they have "celestial sex" as its called, to have two boys, one a jesus, one a lucifer, then they will get a planet to make the choice who will reign over it.

Thats just a smitten of what they believe. I have written and video documentations of Mormons that left the Church and converted to Christianity.

Another belief, is that Jesus was only a man/Prophet and not "God in the flesh". Now, the Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints are Mormons also, tho many sects refuse to claim it publicly. Even tho thats the name of the Mormon Church.

They also cannot dispute thier main Leadership Church in any given area is called the- "Kingdom Hall".

Jehovah Witnesses believe many of the same beliefs as Mormons. But Mormons have the "book" known as- "Another Testament of Jesus Christ." Of which nearly every event and person in God's only True Word is copied over to thier bible, except its variations of what happened and different people, besides the fact it all happened on an ocean then on North America instead of the Middle East.

And... at the end of the "book of Mormon", its claimed the "New Jerusalem" will be brought down on North America instead of as God's Word declares, geographically in the exact same place as it is now, in Isreal.

So, no, theres no possible way they could go to Heaven, since do not believe in the Shed Blood of Christ being the only way to Heaven, but instead, by thier works, to become gods themselves.

Mormons don't bother me ever since they came to try and convert me, but God's True Word discredited everything they tried to claim.

God Bless!!

Thanks for sharing.

The problem with the Mormons is they keep getting new revelations when something isn't politically correct or they are getting flack for what they teach. They used to not ordain blacks, then they got a revelation.

The Bible is clear: Jesus is the same, yesterday, today and forever. And the Word of God never fades away. God says "I change not."

The Mormon's started out believing in polygamy, because that's what the founder, Joseph Smith, taught. Jesus is the founder of Christianity; Joseph Smith is the founder of Mormonism. As Christians we hold to Jesus teaching of "shall leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife (not wives)." When some of the Mormon's saw that it was not accepted to be polygamysts, they got a new revealtion and formed the "Reformed chuch of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints." This was under Brigham Young's leadership. And this is the more accepted Mormonism of today, the branch that makes people say they think Mormon's will be in Heaven.

Becaue this group has moved away from the polygamy in large part, people are unclear if they still believe in the polygamy view of Heaven.

My understanding is that a woman has to have a husband, so he can call her out of the grave to be in Heaven with him. As a single, I wouldn't be able to go to Heaven...because I have no husband to call me out of the grave. So, I would feel forced to get married, rather than remain single, when Paul said he would that all were single as he was. Singles have a very special service they can render to God, because they don't have divided loyalities, so to speak. Yet, the Mormon's seem to treat marriage as superior...especailly those of the old school who thought a husband should have many wives. The more wives the more he could people a planent. Was that not the idea?

I suggest the confused watch "The God Makers." This will clearly show the un-Biblical teachings of the Mormons. When they call it "Another Testament of Jesus" I keep thinking of the scripture that warns of those who will teach another Jesus. And that's what the Mormon's are doing.

They will deny it if you ask them, but traditionally, they said the devil and Jesus were brothers. But the Bible is plain: God only has ONE begotten Son and the angels (of which Lucifer was one) are all lower or under Jesus. If Satan and Jesus are brothers, that makes them both Divinity. How then, could Satan have rebelled against himself? A kingdom devided against itself can not stand, Jesus said. If Satan was God, he could not rebell against God.

There are so many deceptions and cover ups in the Mormon's teachings. They used to believe one thing; now they believe another...and so on.

One could argue it's the same in Christianity, because they now vote on things like whether to ordain homosexuals or if Jesus is God...but all true Christians (followers of Christ) believe that His Word never changes and that He never changes...and that His doctrine never changes. So, in this world of change, it seems that maybe Christians are blending in more and more with society...but then, is that really Christianity? One has to recognize a true Christian by His devotion to the God of the Bible...and his defense of His Word as absolute truth.

The Mormon's bring this other book alongside, as if we need something in addition to The Book in which we are told not to add anything to or take anything away from it. And they add this "other testament" along side, as if it is compatible. And it isn't.

I pray that Christians will stop saying that Mormons will be in Heaven. When that happens, we will stop evangelizing them and just let them be. And they need to get saved by the blood of Jesus as every Christian had to.

Well, I think probably the worst strike against Mormons, is, last I heard, there were 4 different written "Testimonies" of Joseph Smith, all of which have differing descriptions, events, "personages" as thier called, etc.

Also, it was claimed, in personal writings about Joseph Smith, he was "iliterate- (unable to write), yet according to his "Tesimony", he was shown and given those two stones to use to interprete the Mormon scriptures.

The problem?- Where Joseph Smith is claimed to have lived and brought up as a child in the 1800s, there were already major Universities existing along the East Coast and Eastern States/Territories by that time, and very few Eastern Children were found to have gone less than 12 years thru regular School, besides most also attending those Universities.

In actuality, I believe he was quite well learned. So smart for that matter, Satan convinced him to sit down with pencil and paper and the bible, and take the time to write out an incredible likeness, yet opposite to God's Word- (the Book of Mormon).

He then planned out everything for witnesses and all that, to claim falsehoods of the metal plates, a scholarly man back East who supposedly verified the authenticity of the plates, etc, etc.

I have documentations/Testimonies that would truely supprise people, of elderly Mormons who'd left that religion for Christianity, and spoke of thier knowledge and blood relatives closely linked to Joseph Smith or related directly to Joseph Smith, etc and all that went on thru the years.

Yes well, when Mormons die, the men become gods and have "celestial sex" with mutiple wives, then are given a planet. When they have two male children, the whole process of a jesus and lucifer starts over on thier planet, yada, yada. Thats a part of it, thres alot more to it.

Well, I can't say anything about "single women", but do know this- A woman who is married cannot divorce, or they and thier chldren are ostersized from the church. Unless, they gp thru an eleberate ritual of an agreement, to be married in some way after they are physically dead and spirits.

Fact is, according to thier beliefs, single women have to count for what you said was not acceptable, because they believe in spirit poligamy as well. If all women must be married to be attached later in spirit, how could there be multiple married women enough to go around for each man?

devil and jesus are brothers- Yes they do believe this, because of what they told me and the video/audio Testimonies admit this for men and women when become gods.

Well, Christianity, like Cults, are made up of bodies of falable people. We all make mistakes. The difference is, who is the blind and who the sighted? Even we are blind at times to God's Truth. Like the Disciples, you and I won't always understand everything God is putting before us or doing thru or for us.

Its our "old nature" that keeps wanting to "hang on" in some areas we have not allowed God to conquer for us as yet.

God Bless!!

Most people who proclaim to be christians aren't going to heaven. Some "Christianity" in America has become a cult within itself. Self-rightous, prideful, greedy and un-Godly. Wolves in sheeps clothing, Hirlings who will say what the world " Americans" want them to say in order to achieve fame and self glorification. Nothing like Jesus at all. And No, Mormons are not going to heaven.

However some "so called leaders" alighn themselves up with them because they need thier support rather financially or politically. They have this little war going on within their "religous community" where they want to be on top, they are frightened cowards, who probably have never known God one day in thier lives, but they feel because they have done the "right thing" all of their lives, you know.. raised in church, went to school, participated in school activities (went home looked at naked pictures, masturbated when no one was looking, but feel because they didn't get caught, hey everythings ok [wrong.]) said the right prayer (whatever their minister told them to say... maybe something like "ask Jesus into your heart." I 've never read that in the bible, what I read was ''Whosoever confesses Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and believes in their heart he rose from the dead they shall be saved") didn't curse, went to college got married, "perfect" family , "mothers who taught them about education" family who were always there. You know the ones that always did "the right thing in society and in the religous groups eyes," "the acceptable thing" they believe they are headed to heaven and will align themselves with others who proclaim to be as pure and selfrighteous.

They feel intitled to be in heaven, intitled to look down on others who have not lead such a pure life, and they feel justified when they look down upon (judge, gossip, destroy) those who have not been as "fortunate" as them and who donot fit thier status quo.... they feel as if it's thier job to set them straight. They are the ones who become city council men or Mayors, who make so many rules for others, but they can't uphold the rules themselves.

Kinda like a Mayor of a city making up laws like.... no smoking cigarettes at bus stops, inside public buildings, on hospital grounds, twentyfive feet away from public builidings, place kids in jail with murderes because they were truant in school, no drooping pants etc... but when no one is looking he's that same kid who went home and peeped at those naked books, and masturbated, Only now, he's married and when he goes on hise business trips he is sneaking around and sleeping with callgirls, prostitutes etc.. He figures, as long as he doesn't get caught, hey its okay.

On Sunday, he'll be in church with his family like clock work, shaking the hands of the ministers, who will be smiling and letting him know what a wonderful fella he is.

One day he will croak and he will find out none of those ministers cared about him, alll they care about was what they could obtain from him.

He'll end up like that rich man mentioned in the bible begging for a drop of water. begging, pleading, please let the girl come and give me a drink of water. I imagine Jesus will say, remember that poor teenager you mistreated, remember how you set her up, well you had your good time on earth playing your petty, pathetic games with your pathethic, fake, phoney crowd; you enjoyed fame and wealth, but now, she is here in heaven and you are there in hell for all eterninty.

Deal with it, you should have listened to that six foot woman (you were so buisy looking at the spick in her eyes(illegally) that you couldn't see the mote in yours.. thou canst not break the law to uphold the law, or didst thou not know that?), she was the only one who cared enough to tell you the truth about yourself. Now IT IS TO LATE. bye bye.

Bottom line they never knew Jesus, all they know is what generational curses have been thrown down to them thru out decades, legalism;a form of Godliness, but deny the power of God... hypocrites, pharisees and scribes.

And lets not forget the PULPIT PIMPS OR MAYBE A BETTER WORD WOULD BE MERCHANDISERS.

THE HIRLINGS WHO RUN WHEN THEY SEE THE WOLF COMMING TO DESTROY THE FLOCK. WHO LOVE TO BE SEEN WITH MEN AND WOMEN OF STATURE. WHO FEAR WHAT THE WORLD WILL THINK OF THEM (THE ONES THAT CAN KILL THE FLESH) BUT HAVE FORGOTTEN TO FEAR GOD WHO HAS THE POWER TO CAST THEIR SOULS INTO HELL.

THEY LOVE THE WORLD MORE THAN THEY LOVE GOD. ONES THAT BELIEVE THAT SOME SHOULD BE LOOSED AND OTHERS OSTRACIZED. H-Y-P-O-CRITS.

YES THEY WILL END UP IN HELL, IF THEY DO NOT BELIEVE IN THE REAL JESUS CHRIST, (WHICH IS GONNA BE KIND OF HARD, SEEING THAT YOU HAVE SO MANY "WANNA BE CHRISTIAN LEADERS" LIEING AND TELLING THEM WHAT THEIR ITCHING EARS WANT TO HEAR.

PRAY FOR ME THAT I DONT END UP THERE WITH THEM.

Its sad to know that because of the lifestyle they enjoy they rather change the 'word' to be more suitable to them and pass on the lies to fit the lifestyle. But as stated earlier God's word never changes.

Both you Sisters hit on very pertinant points.

Its been known, over the last 12-15 years now, some groups had protested sexual biased in God's Word. So now, God is not a "He" alone, but a "He/She", and the other members of the Trinity as well. Not to mention several other major changes that came along with that when happened, to make it more "acceptable" to "ALL" people, not just God's True Children.

Tho I can't remember the names of those "New Age Bibles", they keep things in them, so they do not "rub anyone, the wrong way." Simply stated, the original meaning for God's Word given to man has been lost in those versions, replaced by liberal speech/writings, to please and glorify people, not God.

God Bless!!

Sadly, there is a "thing" going on in churches, where Christians are falling into the trap of political correctness. Boldness is replaced by tolerance. Black and white/ hot and cold are replaced with shades of gray and lukewarm. No one wants to be the one to say,"NO!" Instead it is a wishy-washy,"I don't want to judge." blah-blah-blah. Hiding behind the,"Only God knows their heart.." mantra, we shy away from confronting Satan's lies head-on. Twisted Scripture is allowed to prevail, while Christians back down on their job of evangelism, allowing Mormons to proselytize (recruit). No one wants to be the one to tell someone that their religion will not save them. Mormons know Scripture; enough to smudge it and double speak and confuse a Christian. So when speaking to the door-to-door religion salesman, have your Bible ready and have some verses memorized, because you can best believe that they do!
