It has nothing to do with winning. It has to do with the fact that talking to the dead is a BAD PLAN! You can get into some serious demonic trouble. So don't go there! We are warning people that if a form appears and claims to be their dearly departed, it is NOT! They need to say, "In the Name of Jesus, demon, go!!!" See, how long the "dearly departed" spirit hangs around then! This is serious stuff, and to say we are writing this so we can "win" is totally incorrect. Would you not have us warn people, so they don't bring demonic activity into their home/life?

These places with ghosts in them...it is not the spirit of a past relative or person who lived there. It is a demon or demons. A ghost is another word for a demon. A ghost is a spirit. And unless we are talking Holy Ghost, it is a demonic spirit. They say these are the ghosts of the dead person looking for rest. No, it is a demon, more than likely, looking for a body to inhabit. So, WATCH OUT! Be careful!

What does it profit a man to gain the whole world (win an argument) and lose his soul? Stay FAR AWAY from this occult and witchcraft practice!!!

I am not here (nor is CC) to win an argument. We are here to save people from a heap of demonic problems.

OK. I agree with both of you. If you look back, I never said the boy wanted to talk to this grandmother. (Just so you"ll know). Also, I didn't teach him that it was OK. He just related to me what he saw and I said, "Wow."

So, Jesus talked to demons. Right? So I guess these people on TV who walk around talking to fake "dead people" are not doing anything wrong, as long as they don't bring a psychic, or clairovoyant or whatever along to speak to real dead people?

Because they are really talking to demons. Correct? I mean the ones who are not psychic or clairovoyant or mediums.

I don't want to talk to them. I lean on God. If I want to talk to someone about anything I speak to the living and to God.

I know people who can see demons as they really are, and early on I asked God to never let me see one because they scare me.

Then, I did something wrong and I was "shown" (in a vision) a photograph of what appeared to be a first grade picture of a young demon. It made me cry because I thought I disappointed God. It also made me cry because he showed me a demon because I did something wrong.

Don't go get all upset because I relayed this story above. Our Father is awesome.

God doesn't need demons to speak to us. He can use a d o n k e y to do that. And then that animal would be able to tell us if we are dealing with an angel. Ha!

When, I was young I had a migraine, and my mother was sitting by my bed. She started singing, "Jesus Will Outshine Them All," about how there are mansions in Heaven and streets that glisten and so on..."But Jesus will outshine them all." I started to cry. She asked why I was crying, and I said, "I don't know." That was my first touch of the anointing!!! And I don't think I had even made the decision to follow Christ yet.

I used to sit in our rocking chair, early in the morning in particular, and rock back and forth and sing hymns. My mother thought that was so cool.

When I was young, my mother would go around saying, "Praise You, Jesus. Praise You, Lord," and the like. And this made me nervous for some reason. Now, that I'm much older, I go around the house doing that myself.

I remember one time when we were playing Monopoly and my mother told us that we should be concerned about the things of the Lord or Jesus (not sure exact words) and not a game or more than a game.

Then, there was the time the movie that all the Christians were watching was "A Thief in the Night." There was a scene where the food was on the stove boiling, but Mom was not there attending it (she had gone up in the rapture). Well, one day, I came home from school, and NO-ONE WASTHERE ...and food was on the stove boiling. I FREAKED OUT!!! Our Sunday school teacher also happened to be talking on the Lord' return, so I JUST KNEW I had missed the rapture!!! I am sure that experience led to my eventual salvation.

Just some of the cool happenings from my childhood....

Wow, Jerena. I love it, love it, LOVE it! Giggles galore! Sounds like our house when my kids were growing up.

One of my sons broke a window in the church with his soccer ball. He came inside and was rocking his body back and forth on the couch, his older brother trying to comfort him. He was repeating, "Dad's gonna kill me" over and over again.

I finally figured out that he needed to "pay" for it. So I sent him outside with a garden hoe to weed the vegetable garden.

He was so relieved.......

We used to sit on the couch with an old hymnal and sing songs from it, and our car didn't have a radio, so we sang going back and forth between towns.

Whenever one of my kids was complaining that the other one touched him, I would start singing (REAL LOUD) He Touched Me. And, my voice not sounding angelic, it made them mad at me instead of each other, ha!

Jesus talking to Demons-

No, its still wrong regardless if people are regular people or psychics/clairvouyants. There are no true spirits of dead people anyone alive on earth can talk to. Who they "BELIEVE they are talking to are spirits of dead people, but really, they are Demons.

Here are two examples-

If read the testimonies of how these two men became "psychics", you'd know, from God's Word, they were visited by Demons imitating Angels. Why?

Edgar Casey was visited by an apparition- (Demon) when he was a kid while going to his favorite spot to be out in the woods. He was asked what he would like to do with his life. He said help people.

After that, he was able, thru a hyonotic trance, go into and follow along a person's body inside, to find probs Doctors could not. He traveled far distances in spirit to help people who wrote him of unfound health probs.

Then, not long after that, he started giving prophecies. Of the thousands he gave, well less than half have come true or were accurate at all.

Gordan Micheal Scallion-

While he was in the hospital for a medical problem, he was visited in his hodp. room by an apparition- (Demon) who instructed him things to do. After he did them, he became a psychic.

He could also see into a person's body when in thier presence and find probs Docs could not. He also gave hundreds of prophecies. More than half have not come true or been accurate.

Both have also "predicted" on specific dates, particular events, more that had not happened, than have happened.

The 4 girls in Fatima Portugal claimed to have seen the "Mother Mary decades ago. Over the course of time this imitating Demon gave them hundreds of prophecies, of which half or less have come true or been accurate. Same with the 2 girls and one boy in Garabandal Spain decades ago. And only a percentage of thier prophecies have come true.

God declares it is wrong to be "talking" to them, as King Saul had, and witches, sorcerers, nechromancers, etc do. They give us false info.

When Jesus spoke to Demons, it was not in general conversation, but to show us how we are to learn what Demons we are dealing with, to know best how to confront them in quelling them or thier activities.

Thats why, the first time Jesus sent the disciples out, they came back beaten up by Demons. Jesus told them, some take praying and fasting. In other words, He was showing us in all instances of dealing with Demons, we, as humans, need to know what Demons they are, in order to know how to confront them.

Psychics, clairvouyants and general people who are opened to Demonic contact as such, have no idea they are dealing with "familiar spirits"- (Demons), imitating spirits of dead people.

I've also seen Demons in many diverse forms, imitating spirits of dead people, thier original angelic form, what they choose to look like now.

Sometimes they can appear as black angelic type figures, sometimes as serpent like, snakes, dragons, other grotesque creatures with bat-like wings, plus more.

God never used a Demon in His Word to speak to one of His True Children. He always used one of His own Angels who stayed with Him, because Demons are against God and would never do God's will anyway.

BTW- another name for "clairvouyant" is "medium". And none of those people are talking to "spirits of the dead" either, but actually- "familiar spirits" God calls them, translated from Hebrew means- (Satan/Demons).

Thats why God calls witches, clairvouyants, sorcerers, mechromancers and more who have connections with "familiar spirits" as an abomination to Him, for they are speaking to Satan or Demons, not spirits of dead people.

I could share some hair raising stories too of direct confrontations with Demons and even Satan in past years. But will not, as some are incredibly frightening.

As to cool happenings...

We used to sit around in the evenings and sing from the hymnal as well, and later we used "The Psalter," which featured scriptures put to music. My favorite hymn was "Honey in the Rock," back then. I also loved, "Glory to His Name (Down at the cross where my Savior died)."

My Mom played piano, so she bought sheet music of various Bill Gaither or Dottie Rambo songs. And she had "Jesus Will Outshine Them All." I think Gorden Jesen (sp?) wrote that one. Sometimes, she did "specials" in church, so maybe that's why she was practicing them. I remember, especially, "I Believe in a Hill Called Mount Calvery" (all these years I was thinking Dottie Rambo wrote this, and I just discovered recetnly it was written by Bill Gaither). I'm not sure what Dottie song I got this confused with. I think Mom had "In the Valley He Restoreth my Soul" sheet music by Dottie. I don't remember my mother playing the piano, when we sang from the hymnal. She played by ear and was self taught.

One funny story was when two people were arguing over who should sing "Oh, Holy Night" in the Christmas program (can't remember if woman vs. woman or man vs. woman). But the pastor solved the problem by stepping forward and saying HE would sing it!

For sure, these are some cool happenings, CC. Should we start another thread somewhere?

I do know that God has given some pretty wonderful gifts by His Spirit that Satan likes to imitate. He's ALWAYS doing that, you know..... trying to imitate God.

I think we'd better be careful about what we say about other people at this point..... I mean, some people are gifted from birth, and find out later on it is from God. People might believe they are damned because they have the abilities they have - that may not be the case at all.

Satan is such a liar! It really chaps me.

Yes pickone about being careful how we talk about people, but those two are clearly psychics. For if all those so called "prophecies" were of God, they'd all come true for one thing, plus every one of them would be accurate. And third, there'd be no specific "dates" given for things.

This is why God teaches us thru Paul, we should do as the Bereans did and check what we witness to the word of God, to see if what we witness is of God or not- (if it is so).

This is also why, some of the "prophetic" Ministries (so called) for God out there who state right in thier Creed or beliefs, that not all prophecies have to happen as spoken or be accurate, is FALSE. God is never ever wrong, nor ever misses the mark.

And with Edgar Casey's case, its very clear, there is only one example I know of, of possible "astral projection"- (leaving of a person's spirit from thier physical body to go somewhere else. That was the apostle John, when recieved the Revelation from God of Christ, when commanded to "come up hither", to Heaven to see things going on up there.

Regardless, in any case, if a human's spirit leaves thier physical body, another spirit has to take over temporarily, in order to keep the physical body alive while that person's spirit if gone from it.

God declares- "the body is lifeless without the spirit". The spiritual meaning is of course our being dead in Christ without the "Holy Spirit- (of life) giving us life.

But the physical meaning refers to a human body needing a spirit/soul- (spirit and intellect) to bond to it to give it physical life.

so... since "astral projection" was not a general practice of the Apostles, we know as well, this is a result of witchcraft, since people in "Scientology" at a level called- "Clear", can astral project. Buhdists, Krishna followers, Hindu followers all claim they can do this thru thier "meditative states" as they grow stronger in thier faith thru the practices that promote such events.

3 Churches here were terribly effected by false prophetic groups that came thru. One even did close its doors for several months before God revived it under new Leadership and mostly all new membership. Thats why it is more important to seek God for Discernment of such things, of which those 3 Churches learned the hard way.

Nostrodamus was a well known "psychic" while he lived, and was well documented as using specific objects, one was a "black mirror" for seeing his visions. Gordan micheal Scallion has since started seeing most of his visions thru the screen of a computer. That is wirchcraft methods.

Ancient documentations prove, witches back then, used crystal balls, crystals, special made objects to hold water as tho a mirror, among other methods, to see visions in, etc.

So actually, its God's children, who should have enough knowledge and understanding of His Word, to avoid accepting anything that appears spiritual as being of God, but to know how to "test the spirit" of such to know for sure.

so, theres alot to be warey of when learning how to become approved in rightly dividing Truth, so we don't get mislead by seeming incredible or fantastic appearing results.

One last note I failed to mention about King Saul and seeking the witch for help-

When the witch asked Saul who he wanted, to have brought back to speak with, he told her and the witch agreed to try. But, it scared her as well, when the "real spirit" of Samuel appeared, because usaully it was a Demon imitating some spirit of a dead person, of which she was used to seeing and knowing who they were.
