Pray for our church

A very close friend who is an elder in the church (along with my husband) is about to step down. He is a big blessing to the church. I have to say my pastor and his wife have been a bit un appreciative of what this man has done for the church. He is the type that likes to know what is going on and many times our pastor won't contanct him (or my husband) about stuff like who is going to preach whne the pastor is out of town etc..... there also has been some hurts in the past. A lot of people love this man and his wife. Please pray if he does continue with his plan to step down that it will go peacfully. Please pray people won't leave the church because of it. Please pray for us, This elder and his wife, our pastor and his wife and the congregation. I probably should have put this request in the "breakthrough" section because we really need a breakthrough. Thank you

If you are leading this man elsewhere show him
where he is to go and be used of you
Often, You close a door when you call someone elsewhere
Bless everyone to be at peace

I do not know how this church is set up.
It may have seemed to the pastor that he did
not have to report in to this man, no matter
how well meaning he is.
