I am in the United Kingdom, I have been praying myself for my 14 year old grandaughter who seems to be going through a very difficult time. I need everyone who feels they can to pray for her. She lives with her mother and stepfather, and whilst they are good people and have done everything they can for her, there are aspects where things are difficult and it seems too much for her to bear. something seems to be going wrong She is becoming unhappier almost by the day and I cannot seem to effect any of my suggestions or answers. She herself is a Christian I can so see the way things are going, difficulties at school,not wanting to go to school wanting to be out of the house all the time. She has always right up until even 6 months ago been a well behaved, a seemingly contented and respectful child and there arent even fluctuations now, she is just unhappy a lot of the time. Please pray for her, I break my heart because there is nothing I can do to influence the situation, But overall, my main objective is to try and psychologically- sort of- rescue, mygrandaughter by prayer, if that is possible. Please help and do all you can to help me pray. I am praying constantly. thank you,

Heavenly Fater we bring this young granddaughter to you. Please touch her right now Holy Spirit. Let her know how much you love her. Place a hedge of protection around her and her family. Give wisdom to her parents how to help her. We bind the spirit of oppression and depression away from her. She is a daughter of the most high God. No weapon formed against her shall prosper. Lord please connect her with godly help - good friends, a mentor, praying Christians, a good church/youthgroup. Lord show her your plan for her life. Make her understand that she has a purpose and a destiny. Minister to her with your awesome Word. Teach her to strengthen herself in the Lord like David did. If there are any problems at school, Lord you know and you can work it out for her.

Only YHWH and your granddaughter know what is wrong. The things that would go through my own mind would be drugs, maybe some kind of encroachment by the step father (of course I don't know him but it's just so rampant in this culture now that I would think of it anyway) or someone else (the most difficult thing to talk about because it brings a sense of shame) or something as simple as a crush that had a very disappointing outcome.

I will pray for you to be given light about what the problem is and wisdom and guidance in how to help your granddaughter. She might really love to know that someone understands nonjudgmentally.

Praying for her escape from whatever plagues her, and healing.
