Dear Friends, I am heartbroken. My wife,Brenda, has decided that she will divorce me. At times, I am unsure if I can go on. I am in love with her and she seems to hate me. Please Pray with me. Thank You. Jim

Lord-

We pray for a restoring of this couple's "first love" when they got married, that thier eyes, hearts and minds would only be trained on each other and you Lord. That no one shall put asunder that which you have brought together. In Jesus Name-Amen!!

Jim we are praying with you!
When you see prayers requests with a lot of numbers on it.
That is when the person updates us on what
is going on adding a reply to their own request
and we can continue holding them up.
I know you hurt beyond belief.
I have been where you are.
One thing I can tell you is that you must live.
You must function.
You also must not just pray to God when the world
has caved in on you
But go to church whether you feel like it or not.
When you are a bright, attractive person,
you will be attractive to your wife.
The crying just gives her a chance to reject you again.
Be strong and walk the other way a bit.
I do not mean to another woman
I mean put your eyes on God and off her
You are talking to God but your eyes have not left her sight
Write her a letter and invite her to church
without the please come back in it.
Maybe the 1st 10 times she does not go but you do.
You have to be a whole person inside
Christ is the only real way to do that
Maybe she does divorce you, but that does not mean
God can not heal the marriage even afterwards
You have to become the born again person he wants you to be
with your feet planted on the rock.
Also as you give yourself into this depression
(as I said before, I have been there)
You are leaning into Satan and what he wants for you
You know the Lord is worthy of praise no matter what.
Satan does not hang around when we spend time
worshiping Jesus.
Now you wife has free will
God won't make her come back,
but you can become this great guy In Jesus
It does not make the Lord any less real if she does not come
and eternal life and eternal hell any less real
So you get to choose too.
God also won't barter with us "if you do this Lord, I will do this"
He wants our all and if we don't give ourselves to him the end results
are pretty clear and if we can hurt this much on earth, I sure don't want hell.
I came through it and I am alright

Jesus, Jim hurts so bad, he can not think
He is wounded and rejected
God lift his head up to be the man you want him to be
God give him a hunger to read your bible
Make a new man out of him
Give him the ability to take his eyes off his wife
and put them on you
Let her see the change in him and wonder what is happening.
Give him the right church to go to and let him
find a born again spirit filled church
where he might find the holy spirit flowing
Lord heal his heart and lesson the pain

Purpose your gaze from your wife now
and put it on Jesus
Find the right church home!

"I don't know if I can make it without her." This is the allegiance that belongs to God alone. The Only One you can't make it wihtout is Jesus. There is no person on this earth any one of us can't make it without. You need to get your focus on God and keep it there. If you are saying you can't make it without your wife, you are putting her in the place only God belongs: at Top Priority level in your life. This is not to trivialize your pain...but as the saying goes, "If you meet me and never see me again, you've lost nothing. If you meet Jesus and never see Him again, you've lost everything." Don't lose Jesus...thus your soul. What does it profit a man to gain the whole world (their marriage) and lose their soul? Make sure in all this, that you stay centered and focused on God, so as not to lose Him. He gives eternal life, and your wife can not do that.

When we say, "Lord" we are confessing that Jesus is Lord of our life. "Kurios," in Greek, means 'Lord," or the "Main One." When we call him Lord with our heart, we are turning our life over to him. We are acknowledging that he is the "Main One." He is so central to our life that we forget our worries, our problems, and our solutions.

O dear Lord, I ask of You to reconcile this marriage. Please by no means allow this divorce to happen. Please provide a resolution for this matter as only You can. I ask of You in Jesus mighty name I pray, Amen.
