Please Pray for my son Cody

Please pray for my son Cody. Cody is 20 years old. He lives with me in Wichita, Kansas. Cody is a great son. Cody has one big problem. He has a drinking problem. He comes from a family that is educated, yet he dropped out of school after the eighth grade. He dropped out of soccer after playing since age 5. Cody in the past six months has cost me around $8000 in legal bills and car repair and losing his glasses, cell phones, keys etc.
I pray that anyone reading this will say a Prayer for Christopher Cody.

Dear Heavenly Father,
I plead the blood of Jesus on Codys life and all that belongs to him. Sanctify him and seal his heart wigh the Holy Spirit. I plead the blood of Jesus on his mind, his body, his emotions and will that he will Glorify God in all that he does. We thank you for your provision of Salvation. Amen

There was a time in my life when I was a total slave to alcohol. I drank for many years thinking that one day I would quit. Well, The day came and the day went and I could not quit,even though I wanted to. There were many days of quitting, but the chains of alcohol were stronger than my ability to quit. Even worse, it was killing me. I couldn't eat, I was physically ill, I couldn't sleep, and my liver was hurting inside.
I knew that God could give me the strength to overcome my battle. I was desperate, depressed, and clinging to life. I had cried out to God many times in my drunken stupors, but this time was different. God heard my cry. Overnight I was totally delivered. I woke up feeling clean.I was able to eat; I was actually hungry( I didn't have an appetite for a long time).I didn't have that desire to have another drink. I didn't even want any. I didn't just get an answer to prayer(many wre praying for me), I got a miracle!!!!. Peole who are addicted to alcohol sometimes take months to get free from the addiction. In fact, It can be medically unsound to quit abruptly. But I tell you true, Jesus Christ set me free and He will do the same for your son when he is ready to let Jesus be King. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. What HE DID YESTERDAY HE WILL DO TODAY AND TOMORROW.
I pray Lord Jesus that you will intervene in this young mans life in the same way that you did in mine. I trust and believe in you my Jesus . I thank you now, my Lord, for the work you are about to do. All praise and honor and glory be Yours, Father, for You are worthy. In Jesus mighty Name I pray, Amen.

Heavenly Father you seem to trusting us with so many young men and woman who are on durgs. I pray for Cody today. Surround him with the Holy Spirit today. Let him see how wonderful you really are. And let him find you today. We stand against the enemy today for him so he can find you. We pray this in the name of your son Jesus.

Lord I pray for Cody also. I pray that you would surround him with those who know You, and that he would hear You whistling for him to come home to You. Lord, break the power of the alcohol in his life, and reveal to him Your love for him.

Jesus I know so many kids on drugs. Please let Cody find you Jesus. I is so wonderful when you have a friend like you.

My friend, this is a tiral in his life, to find something important, something to need. I know you are doing this already, but I want to remind you specifically of the two things he needs. He first needs to need to know Jesus. That isn't the hard part, even tho most Christians think that is the hardest thing. Just pray, all else will happen in time. The second thing, that I want to tell you is more important that you realize, is that you give him that need to love you. What I mean is that yes, You love him, but don't do everything for him. Let him grow up on his own, but always make sure he knows that if he makes a mistake, you will still love him. I tell you think because I couldn't tell you how many times my mother says she loves me, each day. It almost made me sick, but when everything broke down for me, and I found myself holding a bottle, I knew where I could get a hug. You know? You are a really wonderful parent, for caring as you do. Know that comes from a "dis-respectful teen who has no appreciation for anything" according to most people! God Bless you in mighty ways. Walk in His love, and it will be seen on you!
