I am requesting prayer for my grandmother. She is 74 years old and suffers from emphysema. Cigarettes have been a huge part of her life and she still continues to smoke after all the pleading we've done. She hasn't been doing very well lately. She was put in the hospital a few weekends back because of a bout with what was almost pnuemonia. After she got out she slowly started to feel worse again. Yesterday was a horrible day for her. Due to her refusal to listen to what we tell is best for her, she lit a cigarette while using her oxygen (which you are not supposed to do) and it flamed up on her face causing her face to be burned a little. My family was terrified. We were shaken up (and still are). Thank GOD that it wasn't as bad as it could have been. This has multiplied the frustration and pain that I feel seeing her sick everyday. I feel like there may never be relief from this. I am requesting prayer for her and my family. We are all exhausted, physically, mentally, and emotionally, from dealing with this. I love my grandmother so much and it hurts to see her like this. Please pray for her healing. Thank you all! GOD BLESS!!
