Brain Cancer-Near Death-Please pray!

Over the past two years, I have sent out many prayer requests for Amy and Charlie. They have been fighting a tumor in Charlie's brain. They have a son named Matt - he is 3 years old.
Over the past month, Charlie's health has deteriorated rapidly. Amy has been staying at home with him.

I recvd this today

Precious Lord,
We lift Charlie up to you this morning. Lord, we know you are the great healer. We ask that you heal Charlie from this brain tumor. Lord, please bring comfort to this family. We praise you in Jesus name. amen.

Thanks for praying! I have not had an update in a few days. I tried to find out what hospital he is in today. I wanted to go see him and pray with/for him. I will try again tomorrow. Please continue to pray!

Hi Everyone.

Every day after my last update, Charlie lost more abilities. He lost the use of his left side, he has lost some of his vision, and he is not able to communicate very well, only being able to say one or two words, and those are a struggle. Unfortunately,Wednesday, Charlie's headaches got so bad, and other things weren't working well, so we decided to have him taken to in-patient hospice. I am not working right now, but I can do that for only so long, though I don't think I would be very useful there right now.

Thank you for your prayers,and your love. Jesus is the Great Physician, and we know He can heal anything at any time. We are still praying for healing for Charlie, and we ask that you do also.

Hi Friends and Family.

Just a quick update on Charlie. He is still in hospice, and his condition has worsened. Two days ago he stopped eating and responding to us, though yesterday he ate a little and tried to respond. Last night his breathing got more shallow and labored and his heart rate has increased. It looks like his lungs are filling with fluid so he is not able to get as much air. Also, it appears his bowels have shut down. We believe he had a couple seizures last night, by the way his face looked and his breathing changed for awhile. He has not been eating or drinking today. We do know he is aware of us; how much, we aren't sure. He did open his eyes a tiny bit today, and he grimaced when I moved his leg. We are keeping him as comfortable as we can. I have spent the last 2 nights there, and will continue to. Matthew is with my mom and dad. My sister spent the night last night also. It is impossible to say how much longer Charlie will be with us. I still believe with all my heart that God can heal him, but God may not choose to do that. I am prepared for that. Matthew seems to be struggling with all this more. Please pray that we get the help and resources we need for him to get through this well and that I have wisdom and insight into how he is feeling.

I am heading back to the hospital, just came home to get more clothes. Thank you for all your love and prayers and support. I'll keep you updated the best I can.

Father I pray for Amy, that you would continue to strengthen her. Give her the peace and the wisdom to deal with situation. Father I pray for Matthew that you would comfort him and give him peace. I thank you F[COLOR=indigo]ather that even during this time, Amy & Charlie are still standing in faith for Your complete healing and restoration. Touch them Father with your mighty hand of healing.

Dear Amy... My prayers are with you...

Father, in the name of Jesus and by the Almighty Power of the Holy Spirit please wrap this wonderful man in your arms and protect him, absorb his suffering as you did your son's on the cross. Make his life a testimony to strength and endurance and uphold him in your loving arms.

May the family be annointed with peace and grace, reassurance in you Lord, that Charlie is loved by you and will always be protected. End this suffering and restore him if it is your will Father, if you decide to bring him home let the joy of angels sing praises for a servant of yours is coming home. let the family know the love you have for them and comfort them always.

We are so blessed to have this everlasting hope for we know our time on this earth is only a temporary assignment for all of us. may we make the most of it in letting others know about the Charlies of the world who have stood tall in the face of trials and tribulations and restore a renewed steadfast spirit within us to strengthen our walk on this earth inspired by your awesome wonders and glory.

Thanks you for your compassion Father ...thank you for Charlie.

These word are written in psalm 22 by David. They are of true desperation.

This is Gods reply:[from the gospel of Mark]

Are you the Christ, the son of the Blessed One?
I am, said Jesus.
They all condemned him as worthy of death. They began to spit at him; they blindfolded him, struck him with their fists, and said Proophesy! And the guards took him and beat him.
Wanting to satisfy the crowd Pilate released Barabbas to them. He had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified.
They put a purple robe on him, then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on him. And then they began to call out to him. "Hail , king of the Jews!" Again and again they struck him on the head with a staff and spat on him. Falling on their knees, they paid homage to him. When we go through suffering we know where God is. He is right here with us. He is not some distant God looking down from the sky somewhere. He is with us, especially during suffering.
I hope that these words are a comfort. Know that the Lord is near.

Lord I pray for Charlies healing, and thankyou that you are with him and his family now.

So Sorry I just saw this as my computer has been down for the last 4 days. I pray that Amy and Matthew will be lifted up during this most difficult time in life. I pray that they will recieve confirmation that Charlie is whole again and waiting for the blessed reunion when the Father calls them home.

Thanks libb, I hope people will continue to pray for Amy & Matt. They need all the support they can get right now! I have not heard from them since Charlie died.
