Luke 1:45 “Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment/performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.”
This verse holds the one of the keys into reaching your destination that has been prophesied over you since before you were born. As was discussed in part I that every word is a “seed planted” that is spoken, whether that seed is truth or a lie, it will be watered and there will be a manifestation of that seed planted, whether bad or good. The key is “believing” and agreeing with the Word. Whenever anything is spoken to us, whether from the Word of God or sister bucketmouth, we have a choice to “believe” that word or discard that word.
In Luke, chapter 1 we find two people that have the opportunity to believe and agree with the Word of God; Zacharias and Mary the mother of Jesus. Mary was a carrier of that “Seed”, called Jesus, also called “the Word”. Mary was a woman of a destination, Mary was a woman of great purpose. Mary’s destination was implanted in her by a “seed”, a seed that was spoken into her and over her by an angel of God. Praise God, Mary also chose to receive/believe this word, this seed as the word of God, and came into agreement with the word.
Luke 1:38 “Then Mary said, ‘Behold the maid servant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.’ And the angel departed from her.”
When you come into agreement with the word and what God has spoken over your life, that makes two. The word says: “For if two of you agree on earth concerning ANYTHING that they ask it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.” (Matt 18:19) Mary was in agreement. If she hadn’t been in agreement with the word, my guess is she would have been struck mute as our friend Zacharias was.
As soon as Mary said, “Let it be unto me according to thy word.” Immediately that Seed/Word was implanted in her and she became pregnant with the Son of God. Who implanted the Seed? The Holy Spirit that came upon her. Again, the Holy Spirit is the “performer”. He brings the Word to come to pass. We speak the Word of God in our lives, we speak the prophecies, we speak the rhema word He has “planted” in our hearts and spirits, come into agreement with those words, BELIEVE them and THEN He (Holy Spirit our helper) performs/fulfills those words. So lets change Luke 1:45 and replace the word “she” with “you”.
Luke 1:45 “Blessed are YOU who believed, for there will be a fulfillment/performance of those things (in your life) which were told YOU from the Lord.”
Now Zacharias had the same opportunity as Mary did to respond to the word/seed of God. They both had a visitation concerning their destinies, concerning their destination to be reached and fulfilled. We find in Luke 1:20 that the angel of the Lord calls Zacharias to be mute after not believing the word sent to him for his destiny. This was not a punishment on Zacharias as much as it was the mercy of God. If he was not struck mute, Zacharias would of killed the seed that was being planted in him by his words, (oh how many times I wish that someone would of shut me up before I spouted out something stupid over myself!) and it was necessary that John the Baptist was to be born to prepare the way for the true Word, the true Seed. We find in Luke 1:63, that as soon as Zach lined himself up in agreement with the word of destination that his tongue was loosed and he could speak once again.
As for all those things we are on the edge of our seats awaiting to come to pass, awaiting for that fulfillment and destination, we must BELIEVE and as well come into AGREEMENT with these words that are seeds planted in our lives. By doing this, we are protecting the seeds planted in us, and the promises of God that belong to us. For all of God’s promises to us are “yes” and “amen”. The only way we can lose these benefits is if we allow the enemy to steal the seeds and words implanted in us. The only thing the devil can take from you (if you allow him) is the truth, the Word.
Luke 8:11 “…The seed is the word of God.
Vs. 12 “…then the devil comes and takes away the word out of their hearts, lest they should “BELIEVE” and be saved.”
The enemy comes to kill, steal and destroy what? The Word! He is after the “seed” of the Word of God that has been planted in us in order to abort your destination. The enemy has no legal rights to touch us, but if he can get us to “not believe” in the rhema words, to not believe in the logos Word, to not believe in the prophecies spoken over us from many years ago, then he has successfully aborted those destinations in us, until there is a repentance of the un-belief. We are not un-aware of his schemes, he comes to take the word out of us-and he has no right to do that, he can only do that if we allow it to happen. That’s why we fight the good fight of faith, not the devil, but faith. You overcome the devil by standing in your faith and not being moved, not wavering in the words/seeds that have been implanted in you. The good news is battle is already won, but we must overcome by the blood of the lamb and the WORD of our testimony.
Really, the enemy has been after the “Seed/Word” since the fall of man. We find in Genesis 3:15 “…and I will put enmity between your seed and her Seed.” Enmity means “deep rooted hatred”. The enemy has hated the Seed, because the Seed is the Word. Then satan tried to breed the Seed out by having relations with women on the earth, (which manifested in the giants) trying to corrupt the blood line, so the Seed couldn’t come. The Seed/Jesus had to come through a pure blood line. God then wiped out that generation, and kept Noah and his family, to re-start again, with a pure blood line. Of course we also find the devil trying to kill the Seed/Jesus/Word on the cross, and he still wasn’t successful. Glory! For now that Jesus has resurrected and is living in us, there are too many seeds walking around this earth for him to destroy. It just can’t be done! Glory! There is no stopping the Seed. That Seed dwells in you. That Seed is your destination. Believe the Word of God spoken over you my friends, allow those seeds to be planted in your heart, water those seeds with your words and allow them to grow, mature and come into full harvest, bearing good fruit, producing some thirty, some sixty and some hundred fold! Do not let the enemy get a foot hold in your thought life, where the seeds are planted, do not let him gain access of any of your words. You are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus, and through Him ALL things are possible-and its only in Christ that you will ever reach your destination that He has for you.
Whatever you are believing for today is attainable and reachable. Whether you are standing on a prophetic word to come to pass, or you are believing for a physical healing, financial healing, emotional healing-find what God says about these things, and water your symptoms, water your circumstances with the Word, believe and watch your destination begin to manifest and bear fruit, from the seeds that have been sown. Don’t let other people speak anything other than the truth over your life. If they say you are sick, tell them you are healed, if they say you are broke, tell them you are rich. Guard your promises that God has given you. For there is about to be a performance and fulfillment of all that God has told you, all that God has promised you as you believe.
