need deliverance from a spirit

Hi,

My name is Dave Darling I need deliverance from an evil spirit that has come into my home and seemingly entered me. It is slowly attempting to possess me. Thanks to the holy sprit i think i finally know why it has a right to be in me, i need to ask someone named Toby for forgiveness. Unfourtunately I can't get ahold of him, please pray for me.

Lord, I pray that You will show him the path to getting free of this spirit. I pray he can get ahold of Toby, but even if he can't set him free. Teach him how he can rise up and send this spirit packing regardless of seeing Toby. If he has truly repented of his wrong against Toby, then he should be able to get free, right? I pray the devil is totally defeated and destroyed and can not lie to him any longer. Thankyou for showing him the light, as many don't even see it. I pay now he can be delivered and get free of this spirit forever. THankyou, Lord, for delivering him!!! Put Your hands upon him and cast these demon out, Jesus! We claim total victory in Jesus Name!!! Amen!!!

Hi Dave,

To remove any legal ground the spirit may have - is there anything else you need to do than asking Toby for forgiveness ?
- like confessing and repenting to God of any sin/s ? IF you can't get ahold of Toby at this time, can you write him a forgivness-letter, even if you are not able to mail it at this point ?

As a born again believer you have the authority, as you know to command the spirit to leave. (to trample on scorpions and snakes) It may not leave as long as you have any unrepentent issues, but once the legal ground is removed - command it to leave, stating the authority you have been given, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. As spirits come back to check that the door is indeed closed, be aware of any thoughts it may try to get you caught up in - that may open the door again for it to come back, and with it some others.
You may already do this, so please forgive me if I am going on with information that is "old" to you - but taking our thoughts captive to the obedience of Christ - is crucial in defeating the enemy. USe the Word as a sword against the lies of the dark forces: " I am resisting you demon, so you have to flee from me" or "greater is he in me (Christ) than he that is in the world (the devil)".

Neil Anderson has a book called "Bondage Breaker" that I can recommend. At the end of it - there are some steps how to break off strongholds or other things that may have left us vunerable to the enemy.

Father, I lift up Dave to you asking for your mercy and grace. I pray for Dave that he will know the authority he has in Christ - that the Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on him, because the Lord has anointed Dave to preach good news to the poor. He has set Dave to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners....
Lord, I pray that the wherabouts pf Toby will become known to Dave that there may be forgiveness. I pray that any thoughts that are not of you - or Dave - be taken captive to the obedience of Christ and replaced by your truth. Father, I pray for a walk in victory in Christ for Dave, I pray for the peace that comes from putting his trust in you, Father. In your name Jesus.
