Tolerating other religions like the Islam is important but after all every christian knows that all the other religions lead straight to hell so is it right to tolerate the religion of your islamic neighbour and never try to convince him of Christianity ?
I mean there's only one way which leads to heaven and this is Jesus and I think that Satan created all these other religions like Buddhism and the Islam confuse the people and make them go to hell.
I mean what would you do if there's only 1 way. Would you simply try to block this way or would you open many other ways, ways which promise enlightenment,luck,confidence,wisdom and all the other things which the other religions promise ? Satan gave the people all these different religions beside christianity to confuse the people. Billy Graham thinks that Christianity isn't even a religion. Religions are made up by mankind but God isn't made up. Christianity means believing in God and not in a religion.

What does the word say:
MAR 16:15   And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
MAT 28:18-20   And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of theMAR 13:10   And the gospel must first be published among all nations.
LUK 14:23   And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel [them] to come in, that my house may be filled.
LUK 24:47   And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
JOH 15:16   Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and [that] your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
JOH 20:21   Then said Jesus to them again, Peace [be] unto you: as [my] Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
COL 1:23    If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and [be] not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, [and] which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
MAT 10:27   What I tell you in darkness, [that] speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, [that] preach ye upon the housetops.

JOH 14:6    Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

ROM 10:15   And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

Can you imagine if you were a Prisoner of War in a dungeon.  How beautiful the feet would be to them that set them free.

I agree... tolerance is important. But tolerance doesn't mean that you ever accept they are right. Jesus is the one way, and the only way. We need to communicate that to all people, but respect and love them at the same time.

God's given them free will, so we need to let them make their choice. But by living a life pleasing to God, He will be revealed to them--the HS will convict them of sin and then it's out of our hands.

A big hunk of christians don't like to think bad about anyone. All of us want to be kind. Tolerant. Fair. But being wrong about God carries a high price. Knowing the the truth of the true Gospel is heaven-and-hell important.
Paul described people who reject the true God like this: "The god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God" (2 Corinthians 4:4) Alternative religions can't see the real Christ. They are blind to God.
That's the need. God has appointed you and other Christians to meet the need : "We do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who said, 'Let light shine out of darkness', made his light shine in our hearts to give us knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ" (2 Corinthians 4:5-6) God put his light in you so you can shine in dark places.
Be a light for other people. Live so that they will see the good things you do and will praise your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:16)

Religion is man's answer to God... God's answer to man is Christ Jesus!!!

From Gill's Exposition on the Bible:

and the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch; before they were called among themselves, the disciples, brethren, believers, the church, &c. and by others the Nazarenes, and Galilaeans: whether this name of Christians, which comes from Christ, and signifies anointed ones, was given by their enemies, or their friends, by others, or themselves, is not certain, though it is most likely the latter; and it may be they hit upon this general appellation, upon the union of the Jews and Gentiles in one Gospel church state, and so happily buried the distinction of Jews and Gentiles, or those of the circumcision that believed, and those of the uncircumcision. Luke is particular in relating the affairs of this church, he being himself a native of this place. John of Antioch (o) gives an account of this matter in these words;

"at the beginning of the reign of Claudius Caesar, ten years after Jesus Christ, our Lord and God, was ascended up into heaven, Evodus, the first after the Apostle Peter, being chosen bishop of Antioch, the great city of Syria, became a patriarch, and under him they were called Christians: for this same bishop, Evodus, conferring with them, put this name upon them, whereas before the Christians were called Nazarenes and Galilaeans.''

Epiphanius says (p), the disciples were called Jessaeans before they took the name of Christians first at Antioch: they were called Jessaeans, says he, I think, because of Jesse, seeing David was of Jesse, and Mary of David: and so the Scripture was fulfilled, in which the Lord says to David, of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne, &c.--Or else, they were called Jessaeans from the name of Jesus our Lord; and refers the reader to a book of Philo's, written by him, concerning the Jessaeans, whom Epiphanitius takes to be Christians; but those that Philo (q) treats of were not Jessaeans, but Essaeans, and seem to be the same with the Essenes, who were not Christians, but a sect of the Jews. Nor do we ever find that the Christians were called by this name.

I have often times found myself confused. I have always been tolerant of other religions and not so tolerant of my own. It has been a struggle for me, because at some point in my life I decided to pick and choose which "rules" I agree with and which I don't within the organization of my own religion. I realize now that this is not the way. Christianity is a way of life. It is one's walk with Christ. It is not a religion. However, Christianity is practiced under various degrees of religious organizations. I, for example, am Catholic. My father, was raised a Southern Baptist, although he has converted in recent years to Catholisism. My husband is Catholic, but we were married in a Presbyterian Church because I am divorced. There are protestants and methodist, and episcapalians. These are all organized religions adopted for the practice of Christianity. All lead to Jesus Christ. When someone asks me what religion I am, I do not say that I am Christian. I say that I am Catholic.

My very good friend is Jewish. We have had many deep spiritual discussions and ultimately learn that we are not so different in our beliefs. My struggle has been the idea that he, nor his child, will go to Heaven and have eternal life. I pray to understand this because my heart tells me it is not true. I believe that all religions lead to one God, the Father the Almighty. With the obvious exception of the extremists, I find Islam and Muslim practices to be in every way peaceful and loving, though misguided in their interpretation of the bible. Buddhism, is a spiritual practice of being. It is peaceful and loving as well. Scientology is, well, I can't even go there without feeling the sting of pepper on my tongue.

Do I believe the gates of Heaven will open up to me because I believe with all my heart that Jesus is my savior? YES! My struggle is in not knowing why this is not so so for Jesus' chosen people, the Jews. And other religions.

I have struggled with this also.

This is part of my struggle with the Latter Day Saints.

How can that many people seek God for this long and not find Jesus?

What about the dear Jehovah Witnesses?

Pounding the streets telling people what to believe.

How many Christians do that?

I rest my heart in the radiance of a merciful God.

God knows what choice each human being is making.

Salvation is completely individual and God isn't trying to keep people OUT, he knows who are his and who are not.
