I hope this is the right forum....I think that "The greatest story ever told" is by far the best Jesus movie. I think Max von Sydow plays his role in an excellent way. Even though Jesus might not have looked like an European I think von Sydow looks just the way everybody imagines Jesus. The movie is very moving especially the end is so sad.
By the way Mel Gibson is just working on a new Jesus movie called "the passion".But I do not think this movie will make it to the cinemas.

Do you think Mel Gibson's THAT unpopular? I actually think people wil flock out to see it! I want to see it! And I think tons of people will get saved! I will be praying they do!

I think the Devil's in the phone booth dialing 911!!!!!! How did he let Mel Gibson get in a Jesus movie?

No not because Mel isn't popular. I heard that this movie is supposed to be some sort of underground movie and it's not even in English.
I am also keen on seeing this movie, I hope it'll be translated and showsn on TV.

I only had a friend ask me if I heard Mel Gibson was making a Jesus movie. I do not know about the language. I just hope its a chance to reach some people.

I really like the Trinity Broadcasting Network's movies about Jesus--
The Revolutionary and The Epic Revolutionary. The miracles of Christ are reinacted with really great visual affects.

And speaking of, "Can you have any interests/ hobbies?" movies are one of mine. The internet is my newest hobby, though, and I don't watch movies much these days. I have found all these cool, Christian radio stations on the internet. They are tons of fun!! I do not know how internet in Germany is set up, but over here we have a "Search"
page. I typed in "Christian radio stations," and a huge list came up.
One station I found on my Media player is called JamX from Singapore!!
It is all original music--mostly praise. I have found Christian rock stations, metal stations, Southern Gospel stations--any style you want that is Christian, it's there!! You can also type in a paticular genere, like
"Sourthern Gospel radio stations>" It's good to add the "radio station" or they might just take me to info on Sourthern Gospel, when I r eally with to listen to music.

Anyway....
Your Friend, JeriRose12

I don't think we have christian broadcasts in Germany.
I am also not online very often.

I just heard that Mel Gibson is addicted to alcohol and that he started drinking again while he's working on the new movie
I bet that the press will try to mock on him for doing this. The press tries to make him look like a hypocrite. I hope that Mel finds back his way on the right track.

I was just listening to Trinity Broadcasting Network. It was so easy to get to on internet. once you are connected to the internet, simply type "Trinity Broadcasting Network" on the search bar.
You go to a page, with "Tirinity Broadcast Network," as the top pick. You click on that. When their home page comes up, click "Watch us." You then will be brought to a screen where you pick what to watch on at what speed. Mine has Windows Media or Real one. I pick the speed next to "dial up modem," because I do not have DSL (which keeps your phone line free). I use Windows Media, simply because I get better reception with it. Many tell me Real one is better, but I do better with Media Player.

As for Christian radio, there are stations I am tuning in from other countries. So you should be able to get some. If you are able to acecess Jerry's site in the U.S.A., you should be able to get
these stations. Cyberspace is not dependent on whether the station is origanally in your country.
I am listening to JamX radio out of Singapore. I want to encourage you to try to find some, beacause they will really encourage and help you to love the Lord, to want to praise Him, etc.
When you hear the awesom songs about the cross, the blood and Jesus love, it makes you want to sing along.

I heard that the reason he feels compelled to do this movie is because he recently got saved.  I read in a magazine that he feels the need to see this story brought to life.  My dad was also reading about it in a recent time magazine article.  I am excited.  I saw some pictures from the set and Jesus is really bloody.  That may sound strange. But I really think that people need to see it the way it was in it's horrific reality.  What Jesus did on the cross was not a fairy tale and it wasn't pretty.  I am praying with a name like Mel Gibson's on it, it will get a lot of people in the theatres and tons of people saved.
