Dear Lord Jesus,
Praise Be to the Holy Name of Jesus, our King and Lord and Saviour! Lord, I want to begin by thanking you for the privilege of knowing you, for the gift of prayer, and for the the honor of coming into your glorious prsence to offer intercession for Jerry and all the devoted servants who will be accompanying him to Africa.
Lord, we know that Your hand is on the continent of Africa, and that your Holy Spirit is moving powerfully among the people there. Lord, I pray that your Holy Spirit will increase His presence, and increase the outpouring of Power, Wisdom, repentance and healing that is available when the Holy Spirit is invited. Lord, I stand in the gap for these unsaved, and I invte you, Holy Spirit. Begin to move, at this very moment, in the hearts of the millions of people that Jerry will be ministering to in Africa. Lord, we know that our steps are ordered by you, and that all the days of our lives are written in your book, before one of hem ever came to be (Psalm 119). Lord, we pray that you will begin to open the minds, hearts, wills, and souls of those that will be put in Jerry's path. May you open their eyes, and your holy light shine in the dark areas of their souls, and pave the way for you to come into that darkness, and offer hope, healing, purpose and love in the place of coldness, darkness, despair and suffering. Your word is a lantern unto our feet and a light unto our poth. Show them your light, Jesus, and help them to know how to walk in your path. In Jesus's name, we pray this prayer and declare it boldly. Amen, and Amen (Let it be so).
