It hurts me deeply to see dissentions between christians. I know of no church that is perfect. I have many catholic friends who are inspirations as christians. They are filled with love and fruits of the spirit. Their love for Jesus is deep and real. I would be just as offended is someone started against baptists or anglicans. All that matters is Jesus. That we love him with all our hearts mind and soul. Then we should love our neighbours as ourselves. I don't know what we should be doing after that because I have never perfected both. |
We do not worship saints as we do the Lord. Do other religions not believe in angels and guardian angels, etc.? You pray for them to keep you safe. Does not mean you now believe they are your Savior. I am not trying to argue or appear self-righteous. I am just trying to explain why we pray to saints, etc. I believe education is the way to expel the fear of "differences". As long as we all have a relationship with God, that is ALL THAT MATTERS. Not where you go to worship, or even if you go to a church at all. Jesus knows if you are following Him whatever preference you choose.
