I cannot bear this.
It hurts me deeply to see dissentions between christians.
I know of no church that is perfect.
I have many catholic friends who are inspirations as christians. They are filled with love and fruits of the spirit. Their love for Jesus is deep and real.
I would be just as offended is someone started against baptists or anglicans.
All that matters is Jesus. That we love him with all our hearts mind and soul.
Then we should love our neighbours as ourselves.
I don't know what we should be doing after that because I have never perfected both.

I think religious preference is a big point of contention with everyone. Really, it should not be. All that is important is that we all believe that Jesus is our Savior and that we try to live by His word. I am Catholic. I have been to many churches. To be Catholic is me "Preference". We do not pray to Mary and other saints to put them in the place of Jesus. We KNOW who our Lord and Savior is. We do appeal to Mary (who better to "gain" favor with Jesus than His mother). That said in humor! We do not worship saints as we do the Lord. Do other religions not believe in angels and guardian angels, etc.? You pray for them to keep you safe. Does not mean you now believe they are your Savior. I am not trying to argue or appear self-righteous. I am just trying to explain why we pray to saints, etc. I believe education is the way to expel the fear of "differences". As long as we all have a relationship with God, that is ALL THAT MATTERS. Not where you go to worship, or even if you go to a church at all. Jesus knows if you are following Him whatever preference you choose.

Point being...Baptist are very calm and methodical in their worship (please don't get me wrong...I am not trying to stereotype any religion), Catholic have many "traditions" and repititious manners such as the sign of the Cross and honoring saints as God's favored people. Jewish beliefs only worship God and do not place Jesus as their Savior. Who is to say they are wrong? Not us. Only God has that ability. Assemblies of God I have been to are very loud, very uproaracious and energetic. But do you think Jesus cares how He is worshipped? Or does He care that we love Him and follow Him no matter WHAT our church preference is?

We have to be careful not to condemn (for lack of a better word) our fellow brothers and sisters because they worship "different" from what we do. It only matters that they KNOW God! The evil of the world has already done enough damage and separation to people everywhere. We Christians need to be part of the solution, not the problem! I shall get off my soapbox here, I just had to add my 2 cents.

God Bless you all and peace be with you!
