My mother in law has a two family home in another state that she has had problems selling and renting for years now. It is draining her financially. She has had at least five realtors who did not have her interfests at heart. She has placed about 4 adds in the newspaper for rental. The home is immaculate, the rent is very reasonable, the neighborhood decent, new fixtures, tile, etc. It has been her nightmare but, she is a praying woman and God hears the prayers of the righteous. (Amen!) Well, in her recent petition to our Creator for direction, He brought to her mind the name of her former insurance agent. She was going to ask him for the name of a property management service because of the difficulty of handling this house across the country. As she explained what she needed to the woman who answered the phone of her old insurance agent, there was a silence. The woman then told her that she and her husband had been looking for two apartments for their two beautifully saved recent college grad daughters. It turns out, the house is only three blocks from them. The secrity deposit will be their Christmas gift to their children. God worked this one out all the way and to His glory. All the other people who had been interested has had stumbling blocks in their path. God was saving it for these two young woman and sparing my mother in law from any additional stress. I share this because we, as God's children sometimes falter and waver in our faith, especially when we are going through things, however, we must know, that God is for us. Never against us. His timing is soooo perfect and if we just follow his guidance, He works out our situations better than we could even imagine. |
