God must be crazy...about us

I am at work this weekend and looked upon a picture of my kids on the desktop of my computer. I started thinking of the ways that my kids have expressed their love for me. Just the other day my clothes dryer broke down and my little five year old Rebecca wanted to help. She brought to me a glass of cold water and said "I did it because I love you daddy."

I am crazy about my kids... I am crazy about the friends that they bring around too...

You know God is crazy about us. He loves us beyond our understanding, but we can come to comprehend it according to Eph 3:14-21.

I Jn 3:1-3

1 See how great a love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called children of God; and {such} we are. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
2 Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we shall be. We know that, when He appears, we shall be like Him, because we shall see Him just as He is.
3 And everyone who has this hope {fixed} on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

Hosea 2:18-23
18 "In that day I will also make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, the birds of the sky, and the creeping things of the ground. And I will abolish the bow, the sword, and war from the land, and will make them lie down in safety.
19 "And I will betroth you to me forever; yes, I will betroth you to me in righteousness and in justice, in lovingkindness and in compassion,
20 And I will betroth you to me in faithfulness. Then you will know the LORD.
21 "And it will come about in that day that I will respond," declares the LORD. I will respond to the heavens, and they will respond to the earth,
22 And the earth will respond to the grain, to the new wine, and to the oil, and they will respond to Jezreel.
23 "And I will sow her for myself in the land. I will also have compassion on her who had not obtained compassion, and I will say to those who were not My people, 'You are My people!' And they will say, '{Thou art} my God!'"
(NAS)

You know you can give your Daddy in heaven a cup of cool water right where you are just by your giving praise and thanksgiving to Him now. We bless Him and give to Him when we post on this web site and pray for others where we are. There are so many needs, so many broken hearts, so many who need to know that God loves them and cares for them. I know we get busy some times but if each of us does our part we can make sure that no post and prayer request slips through the cracks. That the person posting knows that God loves them through the expression of love you show by posting a prayer for them.

Mark 9:41
41 For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.
(KJV)

Matt 25:34-40
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
(KJV)

Eph 2:4-10
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
(KJV)

1 Cor 15:52-58
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
(KJV)

Eph 3:14-21
14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
(KJV)

Father I thank you for the many reminders of your covenant lovingkindness towards me.
Thank you that I am a part of the family of God. Thank you for this family right here on anointed.net many who I will only see on the other side of glory. Then when in heaven I will find out just what was accomplished through prayer and supplications with thanksgivings for them. Father I will see just how much more shouting and praising should of been offered up to you. Father forgive me when I have neglected to take the time to pray and respond to what I read on this site. May I be filled with a heart of compassion and love for the least of these. For Your Word says the least is the greatest in your Kingdom. Father You have commanded the blessing upon us as we as brothers and sisters dwell in unity. And now, Lord, grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus. In Jesus name, the great Shepherd and Lover of our soul, blessings and glory and honor be unto him both now and forever more amen.

Blessings, Robert Cyders...

Acts 4:29-30

Ps 133:1-134:1
1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;
3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.
(KJV)
