I have been in a relationship with my boyfriend for two years now. We would like to be married, because we believe that God brought us together and is blessing our relationship. I have been blessed with an awesome relationship and I want more than anything to be his wife.
However, he comes from a family that is deep in their culture which does not approve of marrying americans or anyone not in their culture.
His mother, brothers, and sisters all like me and want him to be happy, but his father does not know I am his girlfriend or that he wants to be married. He is afraid to tell his father because of how old world and rigid he is. I am not sure what will happen but I just need prayer to soften his father's heart to this. I pray that his family will be able to persuade his father that it is not so bad for him to marry an american. We both need prayer for strength, but more prayer to his father to calm him
and reassure him that I will be a good girl for his son. We are in no hurry, but we know that one day soon it will be necessary to talk to him.
