My Dear Friends:
This is a lesson on salvation and healing
I would appreciate any imput and help here
This is part of a post I did with Frederik:
It started out with his lack of faith in always confessing doubt not faith.
As I was studying I discovered some amazing things I wanted to share.
I learned there was a Greek temple called the
Temple of Soteria.
This temple was written about by

It was the temple of deliverance, salvation and health. So the Apostle Paul was saying "confess with your mouth unto, SOTERIA, unto, salvation, deliverance and health." Or that Jesus is your saviour, your deliver and your healer. My heart leaped for joy when the Lord brought this to my attention. If you lived in the time when Paul preached this is what you would have understood him to say. Strong the author of the Strong's Concordence knew this and put health as one of the meanings. Today scholars have tried to take that out. By the way Pausanias lived in Lydia a city Paul preached in many times. HERE IS THE POST You said: And when I say that I am done (dead) 10 years from now I am only adding 2 and 2. There's that negative confession believing the worst of the devil not the best of God. Why do you place faith in something you don't know more than the WORD OF GOD?You said: I mean what I have will get worse over the years this is a fact. There that negative confession believing the evil report not God. Psalm 23 Ye though I walk through the valley of the shadow of Death I WILL FEAR NO EVIL for Thou art with me..... FEAR NO EVIL means respect no or worship no evil report. ROM 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (and or healing). 4991soteria, so-tay-ree'-ah; fem. rescue or safety (phys. or mor.):-deliver, health, salvation, So you see the greek word here that almost every church uses for salvation is also for healing. As a matter of fact not just salvation but health of body is what paul was referring to here. What was it like for the local people during pails time. As described by Pausanias was a Greek traveler and geographer just after the time of paul, 100 A.D., he lived in the times of Hadrian, Antoninus Pius and Marcus Aurelius He was a greek historian from Lydia a city Paul preached many times in, he described the Temple of Soteria. The same word for salvation was a temple for health and recovery. The people knew this and understood it. So you see when paul said "confess with your mouth unto SOTERIA" Everyone understood to mean not just protection and salvation but also recovery and health. Are your words lining up with the Word of God? Or are you words lining up with yourself? Rom 10:10 ROM 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness (the right way); and with the mouth confession is made |
