darkest city in the United States

Hello, I am new here.
I just have one prayer request. I ask for protection and that God's light will shine bright in all ministers in the Eugene, Oregon area. Our city is very dark and is actually in fact one of the most unchurched cities in the United States. There are great spiritual strongholds in the area (witchcraft, rebellion, new age, just to name a few...). I know that the Holy Spirit will tell you what to pray for.
Please keep me and all ministers of this area in your prayers. We are seeing great break throughs but there is so much to battle and every single prayer counts so that is why I am writing.
I do not even know what brought me to this website, I wasn't searching for it.
All glory belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ. The Alpha and Omega! Hallelujah!
Lord I pray that everyone that reads this feels a surge of Your presence. I pray that you overcome each and every life, Holy Spirit, and work, prepare, and ignite! In the name of Jesus Christ our Saviour! Amen! Your name oh Lord is exaulted and I believe in the days to come. I believe a flood is on its way. A flood which will not dry up. Flood us, oh Holy Spirit!

O Precious Father, I stand with oneneo. Father we come to You in the Precious name of Jesus, Lord, we come against all the works of the devil in Eugene Oregon. Lord we pray You send a revival like has never been seen before in that city. Lord, we know that a fire starts with only a spark, and Lord, Lord use oneneo to start the blaze of the Holy Spirit on the city. Lord, we bind rulers of darkness. Lord, send Your angels to protect and to give light, that darkness may not dwell. Father, pour out from heaven an annointing on Eugene O God. Dear Lord Jesus,
Please prepare the way for revival in Eugene. Let your fire burn there. Bring repentance and forgiveness. Shine Your light brilliantly in the darkness. Please also protect oneneo in all that they do. Lord send preachers to Eugene and build strong foundations for your church.

Hello fellow Oregonian! I'm about an hour away from you. I used to live in Eugene. I read somewhere that Oregon is the most unchurched state in the country, and I have no problem believing that!
I'm supposed to pray for you.....I was just about to logoff and I accidently hi-lighted your post and saw the word "Eugene, Or."

Oneneo and I are in agreement as to what needs done in this state of Oregon and the city of Eugene, Oregon. Father i pray that you light a holy fire beneath the pews of every church in Eugene and in the pulpit too. Bring your glory down in this area and burn out the evilness lurking in plain sight. Grab hold of peoples minds and show them the harm they are doing not only to themselves but for future generations. Stock the the churches with people who are fire for god, give ministries, servants as well resources. give them money Jesus. Give them People and workers in the field Jesus. More than anything I pray for first things first....I pray that people turn their hearts and minds toward you.
I know that you want this Jesus. You gave me a word one time. You told me that Oregon was arrogant in it's own beauty and resouces, and then you told me what you meant by that, and it was really quite obvious. People of Oregon don't seek God because of the natural abudance of the land. Unlike places of extremes, we are known for our mildness. We are lukewarm at best. Father God you know what needs to shake, rattle and roll to get Oregonians out of their reverse-political-correctness

Father, I ask that you send your angels to Oneneo, Oregon right now. Father, through your son Jesus may you bless all the ministers in Oregon to lift up their town to you Father. That you will flood all families in Oneneo, Oregon with your holy spirit. Father, help all of the pastors to lead your people back to you. Father, bless them with strength, courage, wisdom, and knowledge of your mighty Word. Father, I that you protect your servants in Oregon that they will touch and save the many lost souls in Oregon, especially in Oneneo. Thank you. Your prayers are felt. I am not really certain what's happening and I seek the Lord now. I can feel His presence.
We are going to worship tonight at church to bring in the new year. I pray that strongholds are broken in the Name of Jesus. Hallelujah! Glory be to your name alone, oh Lord.
Your Word oh Lord, does not return void.
I pray for every prayer warrior Lord,that you bless them and overwhelm them now with Your precious, sweet presence. Worthy is the Lamb! You are Holy!

I pray for this Dark City. I thank you for this person that is all ready a light in this dark city. I pray that You will sent Your angels to protact this light of Yours. Lord I pray and stand agianst Satan's works in this city. Please send more people to shine Your light in this city. Guide the lights that is all ready there to bring Your healing to the people of that city. Healing in the people's spirits, souls and body's. All knees will bow down to You Lord and I thank you that this city belongs to You.

I, too pray for this city, Lord. It sounds so similar to Mount Vernon, WA. So much occult here, too, and rebellious teens....Oh, Lord, I pray You pour out Your Spirit in mighty waves in Eugene, Oregon. Let a revival truly start that Your people may reach out to the unsaved around them. Make Your people a light in that city!!! I pray for deliverance for Your people!!! How easily we let our guard down and the devil slips in or our own lusts entice us....Oh, Lord, give Eugene, Oregon STRONG Chritians, committed Christians. Begin a work in the churches!!! Judgment begins at the house of God!!! Your people can not reach their city until they repent and get right with You. If Your people are dabbling in these things or promoting them (i.e. letting kids read or watch Harry Potter or play occultic video games or collect Pokemon or other such cards wtih magical powers portrayed or watching TV shows portraying witches in a posotive light or calling pshychics or consulting fortune tellers or reading their horoscopes.) Set Your people free and give them a vision to see their city free. Oh, Lord, cleanse, purge and purify Your church in Eugene. Make them ready to reach this city. Convict Your people first that the conviction of the Holy Spirit may flow through them to others. Do a mighty work in this city.

Send Jerry Gaffney there !!! Prepare the soil of your poeple, then send him there, Lord.

(I feel the Holy Spirit on this thread, so He's fixing to do something in Eugene, Oregon).

Praise the Lord!
Something really beautiful happened tonight. The congregation I'm a part of met together and we worshipped the Lord into the new year.
The Holy Spirit really touched people. Very awesome things are happening. Strongholds are being shattered by the mighty name of Jesus! Glory to the Lamb!
Thank you all for praying. Thank you for serving the Lord.
I honestly think it is best to let go of all thinking right now and to completely trust in the Lord. I believe it is in our thoughts where the enemy attempts to captivate our attention, our emotion, and our lifestyles. God's thoughts are not our thoughts and His ways are not our ways.
I believe a mighty wind is moving. I really don't have words to explain. I do believe there has been a shadow over the northwest for years. Things are changing all over the world. God has the authority! Hallelujah!

Praise God and Halleluiah to the Lamb of God! I was searching for the thread to post about the 7-8 prayer last night. I was led here. I am in Austin, TX. I too went to Chruch last night with the idea of remembering all my brothers and sisters in Christ during this time of praise, worship prayer and communion!

When I entered the cahpel at about 6:45 pm last night the presence of the Lord was already being manifested. There was a "glory" cloud beginning to form abouve the stage, and I began my prayers and praises. By the time the praise and worship started His awesome glory filled the entire church building. It was such a thick fog! I am sure that not everyone could see it or they would have called the fire department! Really! It was that thick!

I felt His Holy Presence moving upon me, and the anointing being manifested through being weak in the knees at one point and almost falling backwards. I braced my legs against the seat of the chair! My hands broke out in an oily sweat, that has not happened to me since mid-October. I knew that the Holy Spirit was upon me. The recurring theme during the praise and worship and evern during communio was that "Graater is He that is in me than he who is in the world", and "If God be for me who can be against me?" and also "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"

Prior to Church I was dwelling on these scriptures even as I drove to the Church and I was also reminded that I was covered with and sealed by the Holy Spirit and that the hand of the Lord was with me! I felt so protected, and was not sure why.

When I left Church about 9:15 pm I was truly drunk in the Holy Spirit! I'm sure some of you know what I am talking about! I was looking for my car, and seeing it I thought it was not mine because there seemed to be someone already sitting in it! As I approached the car I realized that there was a huge demon with a large head and very big and evil eyes sitting in the passenger seat! Without thinking, I raised my hand to the Lord and commanded the spirit to leave in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I bound the spirit and commanded it to leave and returen to the fiery pit in hell from where it came and that it had no authority hear and would not and could not harm anoyone or anything along its return!

I got in my cara drove home with praise and worship music on. When I got home, I was going to change clothes and go to a New Years dance, but I started dwelling on the events that just took place, and I decided to stay home and dwell on the Lord. I was unable to write this story last night, but I am flowing in the Spirit this morning.

I pray the blood of Jesus surround, cover and protect all those who are standing up against these demonic attacks, visitations and manifestations of evil now. I give thanks for the protection and the power of the Holy Spirit that sanctifies and dwells within us. I pray that the Holy Spirit be released right now in the name of Jesus Christ and that this city in Oregon, and all other cities around the world come under the control of Jesus Christ through you wonderful prayer warriors. Bruce, I felt the same thing last night. There was a time that I could hardly stand, my legs were shaking almost violently. Precious Jesus, Lord almighty, king of my heart, king of glory!
I have been seeing demonic forces too. In Jesus name we have great victory for greater is He who is in us that he that is in the world! Praise the name of Jesus!
Oh arise oh Lord! May Your enemies be scattered! I pray every city in the United States an awakening by the Holy Spirit! Oh precious Lord, we seek You alone! You are the miracle, You are the divine intervention we need! Please send Your mighty army of angels. An army You have prepared for such a time as this!
Awaken the dead Lord!

I too know of what you speak. May God come into the lives of the ones responsible and involved in destroying this world with Evil deeds. May God enlighten the World as to what is really going on in this Country. May God protect the innocent, may God make his power known unto them. Pray for me that I will get out this hell I am in and be granted protection for myself and family. May the one responsible for causing me so much grief and unhappiness come unto the Lord and Repent and ask for Forgiveness. Because I didn't ask to know this for it has destroyed my life, my home, my family and it will destroy our Country. I ask for God to restore my life and that I may be able to help someone who has innocently been victimized by domestic terrorism. May God lead me where I am to go now and may I help others because I know what it is to be isolated, helpless with feeling that it is hopeless. May this group I have found here come together to build a better tomorrow for our children, restore this Country to the greatness it could be. A community build on love, compassion and kindness. Where we reach out to help everyone in need. Where no one goes hungry, where no one is cold and where no one feels alone again.

Oh Lord, thank you. Oh bring Your peace and intervene in this nation. May we be a nation of believers! Full of faith! I pray Lord that we may take on this army of darkness before us with grand magnitude! That you Lord continue to prepare the hearts of men and women all over the world. That Your light may shine so bright! The closer we get to You Lord, the brighter Your light shines in us and through us! Less of us Lord, and more of You! Less of us and more of You! Amen. You are the Lord and I will praise Your name alone! Oh Father, I seek you and adore You alone! For You alone deserve all the glory and all the honor! I will seek you with all my might and I will always long for more of You Lord. Only You can fulfill and only You can satisfy our every need.

Break through is arriving. Praise the name of the Lord. His mercy endures forever.
God has been showing me some things. We must pray for the United States now. I believe that we need to increase our intensity. Now is the time.
