Focus on Me, my people. That's what I'm calling you to do! Nothing else matters....

Turn your eyes upon JESUS
Look full in his wonderful face
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace!

Wow, just yesterday while conducting a service in Florida the Lord instructed me to this very thing and we sang "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus" - the glory of God filled the place. Many healings took place, many needs were met... it was the most awesome service as we focused upon Him... many people testified of focusing upon His face as they worshipped and prayed.

Psalm 20:04 - "Grant unto me the desire of your heart oh Lord, and may all of Your plans come to pass".

We had a sermon Sunday on this very thing. He had us stare into this light. Then we closed our eyes and he quoted the words to that song, and the point was how hard it was to focus on Jesus when something else had our attention. He also used an illustration of ducks that they shoot at in those booths at the fair (to win a prize). He said all we see is the ducks, not what's underneath controlling them (demons). He was saying we need to quit shooting at ducks, meaning all the stuff in our lives that distracts us from what's important!!! The only thing important is Jesus. I believe if people would:

Turn your eyes upon Jesus
Look full in His wonderful face
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
in the light of His glory and grace

that every need they have listed here on anointed.net for prayer would be answered. Maybe not the way they want (in their fleshly reasoning). But they would be so fucused on Jesus that they would not care anymore. Their will would be swallowed in His, until all they prayed was His will, then their prayers would be answered how they wanted, because what they want is His will.

Lord, this is what I SO desire! This simple faith in YOU, with my eyes so turned on You! Determined to know nothing but Jesus and Him crucified, as Paul said. Help me to remember just YOU and YOUR WORD (You are The Word); that's ALL that matters! Dear Lord, I have allowed the distractions in. I say "I repent," but this means TURNING FROM MY SIN. And I keep running back to the distractions. I do not keep You as my first love! How far from the heights I have fallen! Bring me back, Lord. Bring me back....
