Prophetic Dream: Door of Deception

Psalm 20:04 - "Grant unto me the desire of your heart oh Lord, and may all of Your plans come to pass".

Friends -

I just had a dream that at first I thought nothing of... as just a silly dream. However, this morning after much prayer the Lord gave me the interpretation. I do however feel that this dream and it's interpretation are for me and our ministry personally - but at the same time maybe it will be a blessing and give insight to others as I share it with you. Please feel free to comment.

In the dream I and someone else who in the dream who has no face are in a building that has multiple levels, and we are climbing stairs (steps) to each new level and in each level we are enjoying the things that we see.

This person though having no face that I recognize, I feel that I know them. However, as we are climbing each level all of a sudden as we round a corner in the building there is a door off to the side somewhat... and the aisle is straight before us is still open to climb even higher... but there is this door... and the person that is with me is curious as to what is behind this door and where it leads as everything we have experienced to this point has astounded us as to the beauty and provision. So surely what is behind this door must be something great.

My friend opens the door and looks back to me.. and I follow and we enter through the door... however, as we pass the door ... it slams behind us and is now locked... no way to get back in. The corridor that we are now in reminds me much of the fire escape stairways that are in buildings and now instead of ascending as before - there is now nowhere to go but down... we walk down the stairway exactly one floor and what we now see before us is desolation. It looks mostly like a desert, the floor is now dirt and like a desert color. It is very dusty, and dirty. I see little trees - but because it is so dry there the trees are actually dead, nothing is growing. This entire area is "fenced" in with a very strong type of fencing almost resembling bars the fencing is so thick.

Off to each side of this area is compartments that are very dark and this fencing is in front of each compartment to where it resembles jail cells. As my friend and I approach one of these cells we hear voices calling us... and turn to see and as we turn we notice two figures coming to our way. They are policemen - one of which is a Police woman.

When they finally reach us... they inform us that we are under arrest, however - we did not hear any charges?

At this time I noticed that I was wearing a favorite ball cap of mine. I am a Florida Gator fan and I noticed that I was wearing this hat. The police woman looked at me and said that I would have to remove the hat and give it to her. I remember thinking that this was a prized possession of mine and now it was being taken away from me.

I remember the hat being removed from my head and then hancuffs were being placed on me and my friend and we were being led away and then I awoke.

The interpretation as the Lord gave it to me is as follows:

God is currently giving increase to our ministry and to us personally as well... the building and different levels are a representation of that increase. We are increasing in anointing and favor. God is giving us the "steps" to enjoy the increase that He has prepared... we are going from level to level always higher than the previous level (increase).

The door: Every door that is presented to us is not a door that God has prepared nor opened for us. We must be careful not to be deceived by doors that are placed in front of us - do not veer off the path that God has chosen for us. It is very clear - it is not "off to the side". But must seek God as to the direction that He wants for us. Not only seek God's direction in the doors that we are facing - but also in "relationships" that we have with others, and associations that we have made with others. We must be careful that we do not follow others just because they have gone before... but we must seek God's direction for our lives... and do not follow others just for the sake of following.

As God is sending increase to the Body and taking the Body to new levels - the enemy sees this and will place doors in our path to deceive and as we walk through those doors we will begin to be taken into desolation and bondage. As God has brought us to new levels in Him - as the door was now locked - there is no going back. To go back "down" - to return to where we "were" is to return now to bondage - we must continue foward and upward under the leading and direction of God. The enemy has placed a door before us to deceive us to bring to us bondage, destruction, and desolation.

The Hat: The hat was something that I really thought a lot of... it was special to me. Not only that... but God said that it was His covering over me. I long for His covering, it is special. But because of deception and following others for the sake of following - I could be at risk of losing that covering.

I feel that God will be revealing more about this dream to me as the days pass... I pray that just as I believe God has given me and our ministry a Word of warning - that maybe God has also spoken to you through this dream and it's interpretation. If God has given you more from this I would appreciate you sharing it.

I went through a situation where a young woman with a Jezebel spirit begain spreading lies about people in my church--saying it was a word from the Lord. I followed her into these lies. I had just hooked up with Jerry G around this time, and we were going to his meetings, and I was learning more about the anointing and it was increasing on me. Then, this woman started putting these lies in our ears about people in leadership in my church and others. I kept praying, "Lord, show me the truth about this." It took about five months before He did. But, if I had refused to go through that door, I wouldn't have had to go down those stairs and start all over....I regret going through that door to this day.

I hope this is some help to David, too. This relationship could have been put there by Satan to distract him from Jesus. That's what happened in the situation I was in. I was getting so focused on running devils out of town, that I quit growing close to Jesus. Watch out whom you are allowing into your life!!!

When you hear a "word from the Lord" test it!!! What is your spirit telling you? Get quiet before Jesus and LISTEN for His voice. He will confirm it by His still small voice. Don't follow after man or signs for confirmation. I got tons of "confirmations" that her word was right, and I found out it was total lies!!! I know now, that it's pretty much what ANOINTED WARRIOR said. Is there peace? Your spirit (because the Holy Spirit dwells there) will tell you if it's right. If you're having doubts, then maybe God is telling you something.

Also, as Dutch Sheets said, "If you're smelling a rat" (as I did at first with this woman), "then stick to that." He meant that our first impression is often from the Holy Spirit. We need to trust that He really was warning us....

thank you for this yes I will heed this and watch which doors I go in amen he is taking me right now to a new level in him and is very good to heed this God Bless thank you Jesus

What you said about focusing on running demons out of town and not growing close to Jesus, I think that is what my pastor may be trying to say when he says "Don't be a demon chaser, be a God chaser". He is not big on the prophetic or deliverance. I am being to hard on my pastor. He is just watching out for his flock. We have some people in our church that were pretty messed up by two false prophetic ministeries, and he is probably hurting seeing them suffer.

And it seems when I am drawing close to God, someone like the woman you described comes into my life. Satan and his crew are working overtime huh?
