Please keep me in your prayers as I am going to have to decide which college to attend fairly soon. They are both very good schools and they both have their advantages and disadvantages. one is George Fox University and the other is Western Baptist College.

Jessica,
My sister and her husband both graduated from George Fox and I was given a Full ride scholarship to attend (I joined an acting company and then got married instead). I highly recommend George Fox. It is a dynamic christian education that is well respected in the secular ranks as well. In the end it is up to you and the Lord to decide. Just look at what you want out of a college and what each college has to offer. Above all listen to the Lords voice in your descision.
Father, I ask that you would send down your Holy Spirit to lead Jessica to the campus you have destined her to attend. Father I ask that you would give her the desires of her heart for college. In Jesus name I stand in unity with her for your will in her life....AMEN!!!

Hi, Jessica -
You've actually gotten correspondence from me if you've applied to George Fox. I work in the Admission Office.
What are you looking for in a college? What are you pursuing in a college major? Are you desiring to get away from home? Which campus will help you grow in your faith? In which college will the flow of the Spirit be encouraged?
There are quite a few of us that are Spirit-filled here on the Fox campus. My daughter will be a freshman here next fall.
I will be praying for the Lord to make the decision clear for you. If you need to contact me, please feel free to call our office and ask for me.

Thank you josephp35 and Vicki, and christoombs for praying
Vicki, that's really funny that I would come across you here.
Well anyways, thanks for the help, I'll think about those questions.
Thanks again,
Jessica M.
P.S. Adina is the wife of one of my teachers
and I just found out that I go to the same church as Nate. It definitely feels like a small world, or at least town.

Hi, Jessica -
As soon as I submitted my initial posting to you, this Scripture came to mind for you...
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer
and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God.
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will
guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
--Philippians 4:6-7
...Then this thought came to mind. It may be a good idea for you to walk around both of the campuses you are considering and pray. Ask the Lord to give you His perfect peace.
God's blessings to you as you make this important decision in your life!
