My childhood dream

When I was a young girl (about 12 or 13) I had a dream that is still vivid in my mind to this day....almost 25 years later. Jesus came to me in this dream. He tested me.
In my dream, I was sitting alone in our living room by our Christmas tree. From the corner of my eye, I thought I saw a light begin to beam down from the corner of the ceiling just above the tree. When I turned to look, it was gone. Only, seconds later, the light returned and shown in a strong, bright beam over the Christmas tree all the way down to the floor.
As I stood there, bewildered, a misty cloud appeared at the end of the light beam with Jesus' face right in the middle. I was frozen to the spot where I stood. Part of me wanted to run, but I stood there just the same.
Jesus' face warmed with a smile. He spoke to me in a soft, yet commanding, tone. He said to me, "Raise your gown." (This was, in fact, the actual gown I had worn to bed) I complied and began to raise my gown slowly, still frozen with awe. Before my gown was lifted up by me high enough to reveal my 'privates', Jesus' face (still in the misty cloud) turned to the side and closed His eyes.
Before I realized it, the light then became very bright and engulfed us both and the whole room.
(Keep in mind that my family and friends were all in the kitchen at this time which was right next to the living room where this was occuring. I could hear them talking and laughing.)
The next thing I saw after the light subsided was Jesus sitting on a log in His white cloak and sandals. (Just as you'd seen Him in the Bible pictures...) He stretched His arms open wide and without thinking I jumped into His arms and onto His lap.
He then pointed to the floor and when I looked down I saw presents to all of my family and friends from each of His disciples.
My family never witnessed any of this and seemed unaware. However, me being so young, I hugged His neck and whispered in His ear, "I hope I get a tape recorder!" (For the record....the next Christmas....I DID receive a tape recorder which I adored!)
That's about all of the dream. But when I awoke, and even over the passing years, I have come to believe that this dream was a test. I lost a sister around that time in a car accident. For some reason, however, I cannot tell you if that dream occured before or after she died.
I would like to hear some input on views that others may have regarding this dream. It has been with me in my memory for quite some time. Every detail still remains vivid.
After that dream, I remember that it was so real to me that I was afraid of corners in the house and would expect a beam of light to come out at any moment.
I speculate that if this was a test and IF it wasn't a test for strength on losing my sister at such a young age, then I have not yet encountered the reason for this test.
Thanks for reading. I always feel the need to share this dream with others and I hope that it will have good meaning for me and possibly someone else will be touched as well.
God Bless Us All!
