PRESIDENT BUSH'S GREETINGS
FOR THE NEW YEAR

As our citizens continue to demonstrate a spirit of resolve and unity, we are building a culture of service, citizenship, and responsibility that strengthens our country and offers hope to those in need. We will continue our efforts to secure America, win the war on terrorism, focus on education, promote compassion, create new jobs, and ensure the economic security of all our citizens. As we move forward into the New Year, I encourage all Americans to give thanks to the Almighty for His many blessings, and to join with me in reaffirming our commitment to helping people around the world achieve peace and freedom.

As the President and Mrs. Bush continue to rest and work at their Crawford, Texas ranch, pray for their safety and renewal. Pray that God will grant them health, wisdom and safety as they continue to serve our nation in the New Year.

Pray for the President and Secretary of Agriculture Ann Veneman as they continue to contain the threat of Mad Cow disease in our country. Pray that there will be no further threat to American cattle or to human lives.

Pray for the members of our Armed Forces and American civilians bringing relief to those devastated by the earthquake in Iran. President Bush has dispatched specialists in urban search and rescue, emergency surgery and disaster response from Boston, Los Angeles and Fairfax County, Virginia. Pray for their safety, protection as their presence signals the first American flights into Iran since the hostage crisis in 1980. Pray that the help America provides will reach those who need it most, bringing hope and needed relief.

Continue to pray for Homeland Security Director Tom Ridge and his team as they work to safeguard all who are traveling during the holiday season, whether at home or abroad. With heightened concerns for security on board international flights, Secretary Ridge has required some foreign carriers to increase security on flights over American soil.

Pray for American troops serving in Iraq, Afghanistan and in other parts of the world. Pray for their protection and that they will know the gratitude of millions of Americans who enjoy freedom because of their sacrifices.

Oh Lord God Almighty, I come in Jesus' Holy Name, and I pray for Your continued hand of protection to be upon President Bush, the First Lady and their family!!

Oh Lord, give him Your wisdom, Your strength, Your discernment, Your courage as he does this incredible job, that affects every single person in this world! Oh Lord, he, more than anyone on this earth, needs to be led into ALL TRUTH by Your Holy Spirit, Who lives in him, the SAME Spirit Who raised Our Precious Saviour and Lord from the dead, lives in President Bush and in each of Your beloved children! WE PRAISE YOU AND THANK YOU FATHER, THAT YOU HAVE PUT A MAN WHO IS YOURS INTO THIS POSITION OF SUCH RESPONSIBILITY!!

Lord God, I ask that You would enable the President and the First Lady to REST IN YOU as they take time out at the ranch, Lord, I know that he NEVER really gets time out, but Lord, in his spirit, You can give him time out, peace which passeth all understanding, joy which will bring strength, bring encouragement and exhortation to him Lord, I pray!!

Lord, I come against all soulish prayers prayed over the President, all curses, and words spoken over him that are not acceptable in Your sight! and I BIND THEM AND CUT THEM OFF NOW!!! IN JESUS' MIGHTY HOLY NAME, THE NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES, PRESIDENT BUSH BELONGS TO YOU FATHER, AND I PLEAD JESUS BLOOD OVER HIM AND HIS FAMILY AND THE ENEMY MUST PASS HIM BY!!

I LOOSE YOUR WILL AND PLAN FOR GOOD FOR PRES. GEORGE BUSH AND HIS ENTIRE FAMILY, AND FATHER, YOU SAY IN YOUR WORD THAT WHATEVER WE, YOUR CHILDREN, BIND AND LOOSE HERE ON EARTH WILL BE BOUND AND LOOSED IN HEAVEN!! I THANK YOU AND PRAISE YOU FOR THIS LORD!! I THANK YOU FOR THE PRIVILEGE OF PRAYING FOR HIM, THIS MAN THAT YOU, FATHER, HAVE PLACED IN THIS POSITION!

LORD, I PRAY THAT HE WILL ALWAYS HEAR YOUR STILL, SMALL VOICE SAYING "THIS IS THE WAY, WALK IN IT!" AND THAT YOU, LORD, WILL EXPOSE THE WHEREABOUTS OF OSAMA BIN LADEN AND ALL THE TERRORIST CELLS, LORD, SHINE YOUR LIGHT OF TRUTH ON THESE DARK LITTLE HOLES THEY HIDE IN AND EXPOSE THEM, OH LORD, DISPEL THE DARKNESS, AS ONLY YOU CAN TRULY DO!!

LORD, TURN THE HEARTS OF ALL YOUR PEOPLE BACK TO YOU, I PLEAD IN JESUS' NAME!!!!!!! THAT OUR NATIONS MAY ONCE AGAIN GLORIFY YOU!!!

LORD, I THANK YOU FOR THE THINGS YOU HAVE PUT ON THE PRESIDENT'S HEART, SUCH AS THE ABORTION REFORM ETC., LORD, I ASK THAT YOU WILL GIVE HIM A HEART OF COMPASSION FOR THE CAPTIVES, EVEN SADAAM HUSSEIN, THAT THEY WILL ALL BE TREATED AS YOU WOULD HAVE THEM TREATED! THAT THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DENY THAT YOU, THE PRINCE OF PEACE, TRULY DO LIVE, IN THE HEARTS OF YOUR PEOPLE!!

Lord,
We bring this man before you this week of national prayer.
Please be with him in all decisions and may he keep this country close to you and not let demonic forces take over.
We pray that you will open eyes in this country to see that change is needed and no one needs to compromise to other religions-that we only need to keep Christianity in this country and morals that you have laid out for us.
Please help us get you back in our schools and in every area of our lives.
We ask this in Jesus' precious name,
