Hey guys, I am not sure whether you have heard about the wonder book or not but I am posting this email that I got about it anyway asking for your prayers on behalf of CEF (Child Evangelism Fellowship). They have produced a book filled with the gospel and have been sending it out to every house in Ireland both North and South. Their hopes and prayers are that many people come to know Jesus Christ as their Saviour as well as a spiritual awakening in the church and revival in Ireland. Please read through it and pray for the project. Ireland, the land that once sent missionaries to the four corners of the globe is now itself a mission field. It is a secular humanistic land just like the rest of this world but we need to change that and only through prayer can this be done.
Matthew 21:22 "And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."

Happy New Year! We look forward to sharing with you in prayer throughout 2004. The Wonder Book Project Praise & Prayer Items JANUARY 2004 Thank you for your prayers. You will notice each month that several of the prayer items are repeated, in addition to the fresh items, due to new prayer partners joining us; it is good to give them a fuller picture.
Let us PRAISE God:
1. for the vision of reaching every home in Ireland - 2¼ million homes;
2. for the content of The Wonder Book. It is full of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ;
3. for the provision of a building to store The Wonder Book when it is finished;
4. for the sum of £346,000 that has been received for the project to date;
5. for those in different countries around the world, who are praying each day for the project;
6. for over 1,700 replies from children asking to join the Wondersearch Club - 650 of which have come from the Republic of Ireland;
7. for over 100 children who have completed the five follow-up lessons and have received their Wonder Devotional Book;
8. for many children who have indicated they have trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as their Saviour;
9. for the help given to Jennifer Haaijer as she has been able to answer the difficult and theological questions the children and parents have asked. The answers have been a great encouragement to those who have asked the questions;
10. for the follow-up teams who have helped by returning the marked lessons to the children the next day;
11. for the opportunity of reaching the children of many nations who have come to live in Ireland;
12. for help given to Mervyn Moffett and team preparing pallets of books for delivery to the Northern and Southern postal authorities for the months of January and February 2004;
13. for the comments received from the children: "Isn't Jesus wonderful?!" "Thank you for my 'Club Card'. I am so glad you started the Club." "My daughter and I will do the lessons together - they are so good. She is 3." "Please, please send us another Wonder Book. My dad put ours in the bin." "Guess what? My sister is getting better - thank you for praying.";
14. for cards still coming in from the first deliveries.
Let us PRAY:
1. for the delivery of the second consignment of books (just under 1 million) to Northern Ireland by January 2004, DV. Pray that this consignment of books will also be perfect;
2. for the provision of the project. It could cost up to £600,000;
3. for meetings for Pat Kitchen and others to promote prayer for the project. If you would like someone to speak at your church or prayer group, please phone the National Office (028 9073 2263);
4. for thousands of people to return the Promise to Pray cards, and to be exercised about being part of a team that will pray "around the clock";
5. for an army of intercessors who will take up their spiritual weapons to pull down the strongholds of Satan;
6. for Ireland, county by county (see list over);
7. for the postings in January (as outlined over);
8. that all postmen and postwomen will be faithful in their duty of delivering the books. We know of some areas that have not received their books. We are taking the matter up with the post office;
9. for God to prepare the hearts of children and adults before they read the book, and that they will be wonderfully saved and changed by the power of the Spirit;
10. for the people who receive the book that they will read the book and not just 'bin it';
11. for thousands of children to return the cards indicating their desire to do the follow-up lessons, especially those who have received the books in September, October and November;
12. for 175 Templemore Avenue, that the building and all contents will be kept safe;
13. for Jean Porte as she continues to oversee the follow-up teams. Continue to pray that the teams will bond together and that the job will be done efficiently;
14. for Jennifer Haaijer who has the responsibility to answer difficult and theological questions that the children ask. Some examples, "When is God's birthday?" "Can the devil transform himself into anything he wants?" "My friend says he saw God, should I believe him?" "If God was always there, who made God?" "What happened Jesus after He died on the cross?" Pray that Jennifer will know great wisdom from the Lord;
15. for a spiritual awakening, that will revive the Church, reach our wayward, rebellious children, convert thousands of unsaved people to Christ and thoroughly cleanse our land of its pollution and sin;
16. for Italy, who are also using The Wonder Book as a means of outreach towards the children. They have sent out over 3,000 copies. Italy has only one CEF worker. Continue to pray that the Lord will bless and encourage and that children will come to Christ.
Heavenly Father, I praise you for this vision to share the gospel with every house in Ireland, thank-you for how you have provided so far, thank-you for your blessing over this organisation and I pray that it would continue. Lord I pray for a spiritual awakening in Ireland, wake up the churches, bring revival and set the captives free, I pray that many people would come to know you as their Lord and Saviour. Send revival to Ireland and I pray that it would spread to the the mainland and on into Europe and across to america, rip right through Asia and hit Africa and annoint Australia and New Zealand. Lord Please do a massive work. Use your people to share the gospel, convict those who are not using opportunities. Rain down your annointing power Lord and save this world Father. for your glory alone, Amen.

Father, You hear the heart cry of these people who are doing what they can for all the children in Ireland! Father, You see the requests made by 'JC_FREAK' and You hear the heart of this crusade for children. Father, please answer every righteous request made to You concerning this Ministry. Lord, I cry out to you, please send revival to Ireland!!!!
Let us PRAISE God:
1. for over 2,000 replies from children asking to join the Wondersearch Club -
750 of which have come from the Republic of Ireland;
2. for over 250 children who have completed the five follow-up lessons and have
received their Wonder Devotional Book;
3. for many children who have indicated they have trusted the Lord Jesus Christ
as their Saviour;
4. for over 200 adults who have received Ultimate Questions, written by John
Blanchard;
5. for the help given to Jennifer Haaijer as she has been able to answer the
difficult and theological questions the children and parents have asked. The
answers have been a great encouragement to those who have asked the questions;
6. for Jean Porte who is knowing the Lord's help and strength to oversee the
follow-up teams, who are also knowing great help and encouragement from the
Lord;
7. for the follow-up teams who have helped by returning the marked lessons to
the children the next day;
8. for the comments received from the children: "My brother and I want to thank
you for the books we got, when we finished the Wondersearch course. We were
surprised to get such good prizes (Wonder Devotional Book). I want to thank
Jean for her prayers for my granny and for marking our work";
9. for the safe delivery of the second consignment of books to Scarva. Thank
the Lord that the books are perfect;
10. for the sum of £391,000 that has been received for the project to date.
Lord thank-you for these many blessings. Thank-you that you have provided and that you are the centre of this project...may this continue to be so Lord.

don't truly believe. Because like how would you get two of every animal on a
boat? That is impossible. And why are there so many religions? And is the
Evangelism different to mine? Is this religion about God saving us?" Pray that
Jennifer will know great wisdom from the Lord;
12. for Mervyn Moffett and the team as they will be in Scarva again (9th&10th
February) to prepare books for delivery to the Northern and Southern Postal
Authorities for the months of March, April and May;
13. for the Isle of Man as they endeavour to make this project a reality,
placing a copy into every home. The first promotional steps are being taken.
Father, I continue to pray that you would be the centre of this project. Lord let these kids and their adults be saved. I pray that the people of Ireland who get the wonder book would not throw these books away but that they would keep them, read them and get saved!!! Lord I cry out to you, save Ireland Lord. Send revival and let us see many millions of souls saved Lord Jesus!! In your precious name, Amen

Yes Amen to this project. Lord the turmoil and strife in Ireland has been going on far too long. Please bless this project and use it to bring thousands to salvation. Thankyou for the ones who initiated this whole thing, continue to bless them and lead them in Your will. Prepare hearts and minds to receive Your salvation, let there be an outpoouring of Your Holy Spirit in Ireland, and also in my own countries, England and Poland. Let Your Holy Spirit fall on whole churches, schools, on children and adults alike, let Your Spirit of conviction bring thousands of new believers before Your throne. Let there be healings and miracles, and let it be proclaimed in the newspapers and on the television, let Your name be glorified as never before Lord.
