New Ministry in Columbus

Hi, my name is Gary Z. and I live in Columbus, Ohio.

Please pray for me as I seek God's leading in starting a new ministry in the city of Columbus. I believe God is calling me to reach the disenfranchised - the outcasts, misfits, down and out ragamuffins who would never walk into a traditional church by their own choice.

I just want to make sure this is God's vision and not my pipe dream.

I moved my family to Columbus 3 years ago in faith that God was calling me here and am still confident that God led us here for a purpose. I am anxious to fulfill His calling.

"Morning by morning, Oh Lord, You hear my voice. Morning by morning I lay my requests before You and wait in expectation." Psalm 5:3

I am committing myself to dedicated prayer (and occasional fasting) for the next 40 days. I hope to either begin this ministry in August of 2003 or have a clear word from God that this is not the direction He wants me to go.

Father God, Lord, our brother is seeking to be where you want him to be and fulfill the destiny you have prepared for him.  Lord I come before you asking that you show him the direction you have for him.  Your word says that you know the plans you have for us.  That we have not because we ask not.  Father my brother is asking I pray Lord that you send him an annointed word, a living word, fresh with life giving power.  Father a encouraging word.  Father I thank you for your faithfulness over us. Amen
