Darwinism in the animal kingdom

Somwhere in the revelation it is written that when God returns the lions will eat gras or something like that. This means that the lions and all the other animals will eat plants and no longer kill themselves. Does this mean that actually God didn't planned it the way that animals eat each other ? Is this a result of the sin which came into the world ?
But when God didn't want the animals to eat each other, then I ask myself where the animals got the instinct to hunt and where do they know which animals to eat and which not ?
Why do cats know that they eat mice and birds ? God must have told them and this means that God wants the animals to eat each other, correct ?

When Jesus makes then new heaven and earth all animals and man will have a changed or resurrected body that will eat different things.

We ate of the tree of life then and will again, that is why they lived so long

Okay Jerry,
then tell me o­ne thing.
Lions are predators. they have long teeth and all that stuff. When Lions were actually meant to eat plant then they would have had a different look and a different set of teeth.
Does this mean God changed all the animals when sin came ? Does this mean the animals got different habits and attributes ? Did God sit down and say: Okay, now where sin has come to this earth the animals will also be affected by sin and now I will make them kill each other and in order to do this I have to change the attributes of the animals....
