Time to step back and take a deep breath. There is no need to argue with one another or defend ourselves. We all profess to be here in LOVE. Let us ALL make a concerted efforted to think before we speak and to speak in love and respect for each other. Let's let the love shine through.

Throughout each of our lives we will have people cross our paths that were brought up differently, have differing thoughts and opinions AND who practice and believe different faiths.

What kind of example are each of us for the faiths we profess to believe in if we don't act and speak with love?

Feelings are just that, feelings. There is no right or wrong to them they just exist. It's what we do with those feelings that has value. The way each and EVERY one of us is feeling is valid.

Let's keep open and clear communication so that we can each grow to know one another through love.

I feel a burden on my heart. It saddens me to see some of people who are posting here being less than harmonious with one another.

It also concerns me that the dissension between people will be attributed somehow to mine and Brother_Storm's presence here.

This was not my intent. It hurts to see you snipping at one another and being so blinded by either your need to be "right" or your fears, that you forget your god, Jesus and to walk in love.

I came to this site initially because of a believer here asking for prayer for the closing of a bookstore in her community.

We are ever mindful of the right to worship freely. We are committed to protecting that freedom in our country. This is not just because the particular bookstore at issue is an occult store. I would fight just as vehemently were the store a Christian bookstore. I am sure that none of you, as Christians, would feel comfortable with someone attempting to take away your right to worship freely and openly. Censorship is not a good thing for anyone. No one has the right to tell any one of each what we can see, read or do. That is an individual choice based on each individuals personal beliefs.

To me, what we are striving for here is building relationships and learning about one another. Each person here, as a Christian, has a different and personal relationship with Jesus. Never will any of us, Christian or non-Christian see eye-to-eye on everything. I believe there is a purpose for this. We are catalysts for personal growth for one another if we will only be still and listen when appropriate.

So please, let's all know that we are ALL here in love, whatever the source or belief and move forward to learning and growing.

Brightest blessings,

Begining raised in a pagan household i can understand where you are coming from. Personally after what i have experienced in my life, with all different kinds of people in the pagan faith and through my own experiences practicing witchcraft i frankly think its not the best way a person can live thier lives. i don't mean that in a condesending way or what not. i just believe that there is a certain standard which by people should live that is described in the bible. I had the same moral outlook when i was a pagan but i had no spiritual backing. and after experiencing the joy of the Lord, i really could never imagine wanting to be pagan ever again. i'm glad that you came here to join us though and seem like a reallly nice person. i pray that you will know Jesus because it really is wonderful. like i'm not just spouting out a load of garbage. having experienced many different types of faiths---feeling the holy spirit in you is better then any drug imaginable. there is a sense of peace with know that God is always with you that will carry you through anything. He's with you right now and i just pray that Jesus will touch your heart. and not just so i can "win you to our side" because i really care....
