Please Pray for those who have strayed

Brothers & Sisters in Christ,

Please pray for my family, friends & aquantances who have lost their pathes in the Lord.  Pray that they remember how they were blessed in the past and that they come back to the Lord.  We know that He has began a good work in them and that He is faithful to complete it, let them repent and have a renewed relationship with Jesus.

     I wanted to leave word with you and let you know, Yes, My dear friend, I will pray.  But, as I pray, I want to let you in o­n something.  Maybe you knew this, myabe you didn't.  For years, a friend was prayed for, that he may return to the Lord, as he o­nce was.  The results were few and far in between, and a few of those praying lost all hope.  BUT, there was o­ne who continues to pray, and just as that o­ne prays, the time and effort put into the prayers are soon, (VERY soon), to be answered.  How do I know?  Well, right now, its a secret.  What do I mean by all of this?  I just wanted to point out that even if you pray your heart out, and don't see results in the morning, tomorrow, or next week, PLEASE don't give in to despair!  What if you were the o­nly o­ne praying to the friend I mentioned above?  Without your prayers, all is lost, as there is NO prayer being voiced.  Please have compassion, and extending patients with this matter, because you may be the o­nly o­ne left praying a month or so down the road!  If it really matters to you, and I think it does, then pray like there is no tomorrow.  (Because if you pray like there is no tomorrow, THERE WILL BE.)  <--- I wish you understood what I ment by that!

I agree, Mrs. Bill!  I know some people who have strayed.  And I agree with Anthony, too!  I keep praying and praying and praying, especially for o­ne individual who claimed to be a Christian for over twenty-five years and is now in a cult.  Don't give up, Mrs. Bill.  And I join my prayers with yours; I know how it hurts to see loved o­nes straying.

Lord, I join right now with Mrs. Bill, in agreement that these people will return to the Lord.  First of all, I confess that I need to retrun to You.  I need to return to that quiet place of rest in You, where nothing moves me, my mind is stayed o­n You, and I am "centered down" on You.  Please restore me to intamacy with You.  I know that I am too busy and shutting You out of my life.  May these prayers flow out of relationship with You.  Give me a fresh hunger for You, a fresh "want to" of pressing into Your presence.  May the desire in Mrs. Bill and I help to lead these others back to the way everlasting.

Lord, I pray You will go after those who are straying.  You said You would leave the ninety-nine to find the o­ne.  Do it, Lord!  All of those that Mrs. Bill is thinking of call out by their name, as I post this prayer.  Call to each o­ne, so they hear You call their name.  Draw them back close to You, by Your Holy Spirit.  Please be faithful to remind them, as You remind me, that You want a relationship with them,. that that is all that matters.  If they have sinned, tell them that You are ready and willing to forgive, and that You simply want the relationship they o­nce had re-estab-lished.  Explain to them that Your blood wipes away the shame.  Show them plainly that because of Your blood, they can enter boldly into Your throne room.  Don't let them run from You out of fear or shame; let them return to Your abudant grace!  I pray this is done SOON, in Your name,
