How many God's are there in Christianity???

How many God's are there????? Holy ****. I do believe Jesus existed, but he's dead now. So i guess that means God is dead -oh great. There's only one God and he's not Jesus. I love Jesus with all my heart and soul, but he's not God. Jesus is human being; why can't you get that through your heads. He is human being just like me and you. Muslims and Jews don't worship human beings; unfortunately, chrisitianity is like a cult cause christians worships a human being. But in the muslim bible or whatever you call it- Jesus says that he wants us to do him a favour and not worship him. Worship God and God alone. Don't worship a human being. There i said it. The bible talks about killing people and discriminating other religions, killing gays, slaughtering of thousands of innocent animals, and all sorts of things. Yet we have the nerve to make other religions look bad because they practice hatred. Human beings make mistakes, religion make mistakes, even angel's make mistakes. Only God alone does not make mistakes.

Yes, Jesus Christ was a man, but He was God. Scripture tells us so. Jesus Christ is the Word. Look at Jn 1:1 (if I am not mistaken).

As for being dead. The Christ is not dead. He is with us all now. He is alive in Heaven and alive in every breath we take, in every beat our heart makes.

The NT doesn't talk about killing people and discriminating other religions. It doesn't talk about killing homosexuals or slaughtering thousands of animals, "and all sorts of things"

The way of a Christian is the way of remembering Christ as God, filling our heart's with the holy spirit so that we may find eternal life. I am concerned for you... If you call yourself Christian than I would suggest you take another look.

Lord Christ, my God and Savior, if it be Your will, please deliver this heretical and blaspemous child of yours out of shadow and into your grace. My God, forgive him for his misunderstandings. Please, Lord, fill him with your perpetual love and eternal fire.

I ask this in your name, most holy Lord and God, Jesus Christ.

I thought that Jesus had a human as a mother... Marion (Maria) and she was a virgin pregnant by God.
How can he be god? He is not a God (jesus that is) but He might be Gods son to some and to some he is not.
That is one of the different between Muslim and Christian....

I will tell you how to know that Jesus is God, ask Jesus to come into your heart and save you from yourself he will he has saved every human being who has ever asked him to come into there hearts.. now its your turn go ahead and ask watch what happens ask Jesus to come into your heart you will be surprised when he comes in and you are free

If you would then you are brain washed.
Believing in something and being completlly obsessed by something is 2 different thing.
If this is your answer to everything a person says, then I am out of this forum.... do you not have any opinions of your own?

Is this as the same as the sect where they all kill them self?

And in YOUR opinion cheeky...what is TRUE CHRISTIAN? It surely isn't believing that Jesus is not part of God.. or can you better describe what a true muslim is? I KNOW what constitutes being a christian... do you? Even the demons know that Jesus is the Son of God, and part of God!!!!

There is 1 God in 3. Your natural mind cannot understand this, it must be believed by faith. Jesus is not dead, He is risen! You choose what you will believe. Answer me this; is 2+2=5? What if I believe it is? Does that make it so? Is the world flat if I believe it? You cannot love Jesus if you don't believe He is God, read Philippians 2:6-7 and John 10:30. Here are 2 more, 2 in Isaiah (Isaiah 9:6 and 43:3). What did God mean when He said in Genesis, let Us make man in Our image? Who is He talking to but Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Also, hatred is of satan, love is of God for God is love (1 John 4:8). In John 8:58 Jesus said I AM, the same I AM in Exodus, who was God speaking to Moses. Also, read Acts 5:3-4, it shows that the Holy Spirit and God are one. Anyway, you are suppose to worship God in the name of Jesus, and because of what He did for us. If He hadn't died for our sins, we couldn't worship God anyway. We would still be dead in our sins, and unforgiven. But bless God, Jesus did shed His blood for our sins, and all who accept Him as Lord and Saviour are born into the kingdom of God. I promise you one thing, if you seek to know the truth and not religion, God will reveal the truth to you. Cry out for the truth, and He will show you the truth!

Hey, He did become a human, born of a virgin by the Holy Spirit, died for the sins of the whole world, and rose again and sits at the right hand of God, alive!! Of all the religions of the world, Jesus is the only One to rise from the dead, and is coming again. Please don't reject Him because of what you believe, because everyone who dies without Him will be a believer, but it will be too late, they will be in hell just like the rich man!!

Muslims don't understand the Trinity, and quite frankly neither do I. How many other Christians can really say they do. I asked my grandfather who is a deacon in the Catholic church for 16 years, to explain it to me, and he said it is not for HUMANS to understand. I accept that. But why then must Christians understand Mary's pregnancy? GOD said BE, and it WAS!!! No explanation needed. I accept that!

The Bible has been touched and translated by so many people that it's hard to know what is real and what is not. History shows that people have purposly made changes to benefit themselves, ie. King James. How can I be expected to take Peter's story as truth? That's not God's word, that's Peter's version!

Did you know that the original Quran, written by Aisha, the prophet Mohammed's wife, is STILL in Mecca. UNTOUCHED. And you can actually take your own Quran their and compare word for word the writtings in each book. Where in the world is that original Bible?

I'm not disputing the Bible, and the messeges in it. Just the aunthencity of some very important details.

Again I love Jesus, but I love God more, and I am NOT the devil.

God help the two of you for sending that to that poor girl.

You have a lot to learn about spiritual warfare if you remember the bible says we fight not against flesh and blood but against spiritual rulers in high places, therefore we arent coming against them we are coming against satan himself in the spirit realm and how fun it is letting Jesus release warring angles and archangels to come against demons to push them back in the spirit realm and keep them out of the way, so The fire anointitng of God can be poured out on all of us even now...

Let me re-phrase...I was raised Catholic. I am not a practicing Catholic. I am not a wolf in sheeps clothing. I said Christianity is MUCH LIKE a cult...and it is! I'm not trying to confuse any one. Quite the contrary, I am trying to enlighten people. I believe in God, I worship ONE God, just like the 1st comandment says!

Shoegal, it is funny that you claim the largest religious group in the world is much like a cult... Christianity is the path of a relationship with God. A cult is, by definition, A religion or religious sect generally considered to be extremist or false, with its followers often living in an unconventional manner under the guidance of an authoritarian, charismatic leader.

Let's take an example:
I just saw a temple in Florida entitled "Mary, Queen of the Universe Temple" This is a temple which worships Mary as God and bends scripture and doctrine to label Christians wrong and them right. They, if I am not mistaken, are a cult.

You seem lost, Shoegal, and I hope that you find your way back to Christ and invite the Holy Spirit into your heart. You will be in my prayers.

As for the validity of Christ as God, just look at Scripture. In the beginning there was the Word, the Word was with God, the Word was God.

Jesus told us He was the Messiah, that He was the Lord. His miraculous birth, His death, the reversal of the forces of nature, and the ressurection, deliverence of the prophecy (revelations), and every fiber of our soul and every beat of our hearts tells us He is God and He is the deliverer, the messiah, the savior.

Jesus is my King, my best friend, he's the Living God, that's right, LIVING GOD. God humbled himself so perfectly when He came down from Heaven in the form of the Christ. He endured sickness, suffering, pain, rejection, and death. He came down to us knowing that He would die alone and rejected, like a flower trampled on the ground. Yet the soul purpose of His life was to die to absorb our sins, to take all of the collective sins of the human race and pin them on one man in the form of a brutal crucifiction and death which HE EMBRACED because of His neverending and overwhelming love for us. Who would do that without question? Who would take up the cross in the place of Christ and who would have made it as far as Christ made it? Sure we might have made it to the cross, sure we would have made it to death... but would we have come back? Would we have been able to? I wouldn't. One lash and I would have been down for the count. I admire Christ for his dedication to us, for His brothers and sisters.

I pray that you turn to Him, Shoegal, that you abandon your dedication to this concept in your head and truly surrender yourself to Christ during this final revival so that you may understand what He has in store for you and so that, unlike those who do not turn to Him, you will be saved from death.

Say to yourself "Who am I to think that I do not need a savior? I am a sinner, I am not worthy. Surely if the saints, who were more pure than I am, aren't worthy of a seat in Heaven and rely on the grace of Christ, I am not worthy. Lord Christ, I understand now and I pray that you forgive me for my turning away from you. Christ God, I am weak without you. Fill me with your grace, Lord, so that I may be inspired to live and worship and praise in your most Holy Name. El Shaddai, I am unworthy and I need you to save me. I want to be with you, I want to see you, and I desire to be in your arms for all eternity. I love you, Jesus... I need you so..."

Lord Christ, I pray for Shoegal, that she recognize the influences of the enemy within her mind. I pray that you support her, God, and inspire her to follow a path true to your way, true to the Word sent to us, the Word which existed from the beginning and will exist to the very end.

Guide her to you, Lord, and protect her from Satan, that she may see the light of your love and mercy.
