My boyfriend, of seven years, has been dealing with alcoholsim. I have stood by him, but, although I love him, I feel that I can no longer be involved. In November, I gave him an option to quit or I must leave, it's now January and I have seen no improvement, just talk. I need prayers that I may make the right decision. Please pray.

Father, I bring Peppermint to You for wisdom. Father, teach her why she is valuable to You. Holy Spirit, I release her in to Your hands to lead her into a strong, pure, and deep Salvation Relationship with Jesus!
Father, I bring Peppermints boyfriend to You for Salvation and redemption from his addiction to alcohol. Holy Spirit, I release him to You, please lead him into his Salvation Relationship with Jesus. Do whatever You need to in order to bring him to Salvation! Make him desperate to fall on his face in repentance before God. Make him hungry and thirsty for the things of God. Show him Your Grace.
I ask this in the Name of Jesus! AMEN!

hi peppermint. let your heart guide you but not your "will" or feelings for feelings change. i'm sure you know that if you or anyone gives "an option to quit or i must leave" ultimatum, that alcholics, addicts, etc will Not change based on such an ultimatum. one can only suggest to an alcoholics/addicts but expect all "talks" or lies from them. addicts, etc. are not strong enough to fight the lies that are in them, let alone to do right what their spirit perhaps wants to do right, without God's help and the person's own choice. "spirit is willing but flesh is weak".
for only God can heal & change a person's heart and spirit but when that person is ready to change or 'hit bottom'. off course, He can change a person with a snap of fingers. but in most cases, God will heal and change, when the person's ready for it. and it will be gradual in his/her own pace which can take a long time and a Lot of pain, patience... and a Lot of Prayers.

dear Lord Jesus in heaven, we come before You to lift up pepermint and his boyfr. into Your healing and protecting hands. Lord You've seen what they've gone thru, You know what pain and agony in pepermint's heart at the moment. Lord pour out Your Holy Spirit over her to calm her heart and mind, and bring wisdom to decide which road to take. guide her will & heart to Yours. Jesus with the power of Your Holy Blood bind whatever confusion in her and bind whatever strongholds of alcoholism, insecurities in her boyfr.'s heart, spirit and flesh. help him o Lord for he is lost. bind whatever unclean spirit that is in his body, spirit and mind. heal him o Lord we pray guide him to Your healing presence and Your good people around him. in the midst of this trial Lord whatever decision that pepermint take with Your lead and guidance, reassure her Lord that she can still help her friend to fight this alcoholism thru prayers and continual prayers and hope in You. surround her with Your good people and bless her life and her future in You. thank you Father for hearing our humble prayers that we say in the Mighty name of Jesus our Healer and Savior, amen.

In the name of Jesus I pray for a release from this demon, alcohol. Father I pray that peppermint will live according to your will, I pray that you will lead her steps and her decisions. I give you the glory from her looking to you in her time of need and I pray that she will hear your direction clearly. In Jesus name. Amen.
