Prayer for nephew is requested

Your prayers are requested. My nephew is currently in a juvenile detention center. The problem - he was with the wrong people. Last summer, some so-called friends decided to assault a gentlemen. Although my nephew and his buddy ran away when the others started to assault the man (who is 44 & was inappropriately touching a 16 year old girl), he was just picked up for assault. They indicated that because he knew of the attack and did not report it, he was an accessory. HOW ABSURD! How many times have adults walked away whenever a fight started. My nephew has since learned that you are judged by the friends that you keep, but it is a little too late. His initial hearing is on Monday, and hopefully we can bring him home. And mercifully the judge will only give him probation. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PRAYER FOR MY NEPHEW! He is a really sweet young man who merely associated with the wrong crowd. Thank you all so much.

Lord, I ask you to show mercy for this young man.
Lord, help him find his way and follow you all the days of his life.
Bless him and his family with wisdom and understanding. Help them know just what to do.
