Job, immigration and suicide crises

I was laid off from work last month, which puts my work visa in jeopardy. I could now be forced to leave the country, even though I've lived here for 12 years now. I need to land a job quickly, to avoid complications with the government.
I was very miserable in my home country, and the prospect of going back is more terrible than I can say. In addition, the cost of moving back would be outrageous. Please pray for a breakthrough soon.
I was expecting a job offer this week, which seemed like a sure thing. I've learned that I won't be receiving it, though. This left me so depressed that I felt like swallowing a bottle of pills, or jumping off a bridge. I could really use some prayers.

Lord, I pray You will perform a miracle, quickly! Just as You came through at the Red Sea, come through for JT. Cover JT by Your precious blood, that the spirit of sucide may not touch this child of Yours. Let peace be his/hers(?) wherever he goes. Let a job open up soon. Just pour out peace upon peace upon peace and allow no harm to touch Your child! Be his/her(?) Comforter, Holy Spirit, and let every fruit of the Spirit keep him. Let Your love surround in an extra special way that gives him/her(?) to face each day. Wrap Your arms around. Protect them under the wing of the shadow of the Almighty. Please, please, please destroy the spirit of suicide!
