new prayer on career decision

i am in my early 50's and have been at a firm for 12 years. i was offered a new job which i accepted. however, when i gave my notice the company i currently work with said there might be a possibility of an management positoin in a few months. i am so confused. i dont handle change well, it is hard leaving a company after 12 years and at my age.
i need direction from god and lots of prayers. the new company that i accepted a position with starts next week. i am so confused and so depressed about this as to whether i am doing the right thing.
please pray for direction from god for me. thanks

Dear God please heal your sweet daughters mind from this confusion. dear God you know what you have planned for her. Take all her worry and doubt away. Make her path clear to see so that she knows she is making a the right direction. Install Psalm 34:4 in her (I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears) My sister, stay encourage know that God is in control. I know this confusing time has you torn but be still and he will answer you in enough time. If you get to the point where you feel you can't hear his voice take it upon you to weigh out the options, make a decision, pray that you are making the right decision and trust that God will be with you. Don't let, after you make a choice, Satan steal your joy away. You belong to God. Satan can't touch you. He may try, after you begin your new position, which ever it may be, to throw something at you telling you you mad a mistake; watch out for this, but know that God is with you now and God will be with you then and he will always be by yourside. The only reason you are confused is because Satan wants to steal you joy away. But we know Satan is a liar. We serve a good God. He wouldn't let you make a choice you couldn't handle. Stay encourage. You should be rejoicing, Girl you got offered a new job and a higher position you should be praising God for giving you the chance to advance in your career. Don't give Satan the glory by clogging up your mind. Give God the Glory!
