Praise God!
My 13 year old son has been going through some really huge trials lately. The last one was last week when he had to go to court for basically speaking without thinking in school. He was so beside himself because his father's attorney advised us to have him deny his statements. His (unsaved) father had told him several times before he and I left for the hearing to "make sure you don't say anything, don't admit to your statement". It was a 1/2 hour drive to court and he and I were talking. He asked me what I thought he should do. I told him that only he and God knew exactly what was said and that I could not tell him what to say. I told him that he would have to be accountable to God for his words and actions. The car was scilent for the rest of the ride (other than my praise tape that I was singing along with). When we got to the court, my son was saying that he was going to do as his father told him to do and listen to the attorney's advice. 2 hours later when we finally had our turn, I was overjoyed. My son who was going to lie actually told the whole truth. For telling the truth and showing remorse, he was basically given a warning and was told that if he stayed good for the next 3 months, the case would be closed and dropped from his otherwise spotless record. When we left the building, I started to praise God aloud. My son looked at me and said, "Mom, you know what, prayer really works! I was praying the whole drive here to God and asked Him what to say and begged for His mercy."
The next day when I was talking to his Aunt, I found out that my son was more involved in the Sunday School classes than what I thought. I found out that he was creating "sermons for the classes" and that he was also preaching these sermons.
To wrap this all up, God gave him a lesson in practice what you preach and my son got an A+!

That is awsome, I always find it exciting when the youth of today are experiencing God's hand in their lives directly.
