Teen Who Knows God

Sometimes teens can be very puzzling but at other times, you find yourself in total awe when one actually knows the meaning of life (and really does, not just thinks he does!)

I just want to Praise God for one of my son's friends.  This young man of God actually endored persecution from the school for wearing a t-shirt that depicted his Christian & political views.  You see, he wore a t-shirt to school that said "Roe Vs. Wade, the American Holocaust" which one of his teachers took affence to.  He was sent to the office because he refused to turn his t-shirt inside-out.  This young man of God was given a detention for his belief.  When he was at our house, he was telling me about how the school would not dictate what he was going to wear because he did not find it to be offensive.  Knowing that he was from a Christian family, I thought that it was just one of those t-shirts that his mom bought and he had to wear it.  I asked him to expain to me what he thought the t-shirt really was saying.  I found myself in awe and praising God because this young man of 13 said that when the supreme court ruled that abortion was legal back in the 1970's, what they did was made it legal to murder unborn babies thus creating the american holocaust.  As he put it, Hitler was wrong for what he did and so was the supreme court when they decided Roe vs. Wade.

I thank God and Praise Him for bringing children like this one into our schools and lives!

This is awesom to hear!!!  I was not too bold when I was in school, even though I was known as a "holy roller," and would not do all that worldly stuff.  Along those lines:  My neice told me teens in schools are doing something called "the thirty second kneel down," where they kneel by their lockers in the morning to dedicate their school day to God.  Some teens got locked in their lockers as a result.... But the report is, it's having a bigger impact than "See You at the Pole" and revolutionizing schools.  Other studetns think it's cool (and I assume are wanting to know about these Christian kids beliefs).   Praise the Lord!!!  He is on the move!!!
