I would like prayer for peace in my workplace. I ask in advance for forgiveness if my post is too long or doesn't seem focused. The situation is extremely upsetting, and I'm trying to keep my focus where it needs to be. I'm a temp who loves her job and am supposed to go permanent here by the end of March. My boss, Cynthia, is a great lady and I enjoy working with her.

My boss was told by her boss to make a job offer to the woman who previously temped at the job I do now. She was made an offer for another position, same department. Because Amanda's response to the offer was delayed, we got Pat, a hard-working, wonderful temp, to do the job.

Amanda returned to us part-time starting this week and is already putting things in an uproar. She created a lot of discord when she was here previously, and I don't know why we had to take her back. Amanda trained me to do my job (less than 4 hours) and at least 40% of what she showed me was wrong. Pat is on the edge of leaving, and I'll probably call my other agencies to line something up should this not work. I really enjoy my work, my boss and Pat, but am concerned that Amanda will either drive us out (Pat and I) or work to get us fired. Please pray that no weapon formed against Pat, Cynthia or I will prosper. Pray for restoration of peace in this company and for all of us to conduct ourselves in a godly manner. Pat and I have the sole incomes in our households, so it's important for us not to have disruption of them.

Heavenly Father,
I plead the blood of Jesus over Cynthia, Pat and I. I also pray a hedge of protection around us so we don't get caught up in anything that is not Your will. Let any snares, schemes, scams or other mechanizations of the enemy be clearly revealed, per Your Word in Matthew 10, and not prosper against us. If it is Your will for us to work with Amanda, please pave the way. Remove all obstacles to harmony in this workplace. If it is not Your will for any of us to stay, please quickly guide us where You do need our services. Thank You for this job, Father, I enjoy my duties and boss. Thank You for the benefits the income of this job provides my household. Please show us how to be peacemakers and godly examples in this situation. Lord, show all concerned in this situation how to do the right thing. Thank You for the help and comfort You are giving and will give throughout this crisis. In Jesus' name I pray and praise You. Amen.

Thanks for your prayer, Anointed Warrior. I love this job and desperately need the income, and really want to work peacefully and productively. I claim stable employment and financial solvency for Cynthia, Pat and myself in Jesus' mighty name!

Heavenly Father, I come to you today in agreement with Anointed Warrior and Mariposa that there will be peace in her workplace.I bind Satan here on earth as he is bound in heaven. Dear precious Saviour, please help my sister Mariposa to keep the job that she loves without any stress or confusion. I ask that you FLOOD her workplace with your peace,Jesus. We know that where you are there is no confusion. Please make all the people that cause trouble in her workplace to feel very uncomfortablewhen they are on the job. It's been peaceful so far today, but Amanda has told my boss that she thinks they could work without me just fine. Cynthia, my boss, told her it wasn't possible. Amanda also wants my office (it used to be hers). Please continue to pray that no weapon formed against Cynthia, Pat or I shall prosper. Also pray that if it's not God's will for any of us to remain here, that we will leave with His grace and no disruption of income.

Well, I've got a bit of a praise report: I was able to help Pat get a job with a friend of mine, paying $2 more per hour than when she was here. God helped her move with no disruption in income.

In the meantime, Amanda has tried to tell Cynthia they can handle all accounting without me, and has tried several times to regain the office I'm in. I would like continued prayer that peace will reign in our workplace and we will all conduct ourselves the way Jesus would want. Cynthia and I still need protection from the evil still trying to rear it's ugly head here.

Heavenly Father,
Please protect Cynthia and I as we go through our workday. Help us to do a good job and glorify You in every way. May no weapon formed against us propser. Let all machinations of the enemy be clearly exposed--plot, deed and doer. I thank You for helping Pat get a job that is much better for her and pray for her continued success. Thank You also for the tentative peace that has been established. Please continue to protect Cynthia and I from evil. In Jesus' mighty name I pray and praise You! Amen.

Jesus, please give wisdom and insight to the people who are in charge at Mariposa's job. Show them her and Cynthia's value and good work. Give them favor over Amanda. Cause them to understand that Amanda
s behavior is not profitable for the company and creates an unhappy work environment. We praise you Jesus for the position and income you have provided for Pat.

God is moving where I work. A known troublemaker was fired today. While I hurt for anyone out of a job in these tough times, this wasn't unexpected. I hope she allows this experience to be one of positive development and spiritual growth.

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for removing one of the troublemakers from my workplace. Remove any obstacles to all You will to remain there working together in peace, harmony and glorifying You in thought, word and deed. Expose all troublemakers where I work and do it in such a manner that those You have put in authority to do something about it can quickly do so. Thank You also for blessing Pat with a better job. Please grant Cynthia and I favor with those who You have put in charge. Help us work peacefully and productively, setting a good example for those who may be lost. Protect Cynthia and I from the spirits of confusion and disorder. In Jesus' precious and mighty name I pray. Amen!

I have had such a feeling of peace yesterday and this morning and was looking forward to a great day. When I got here this morning, I had a new employee to come. She was to train in various areas of the office before moving on to another office for permanent placement. Apparently, the people who are trying to ruin my life did not agree with this and have called my boss to tell on me, even though I was doing what I was told to do. Now I am in trouble again. Please continue to pray for me as I will for you."

Dear Heavenly Father,
Please protect Elaine, Laura, Cynthia and I from those who wish to harm us and disrupt our workplaces. Reveal all schemes, scams and traps they wish to use and heal our workplaces of this type of scourge. I stand on Matthew 10 (that which is covered shall soon be uncovered) in asking that the evildoers' deeds and intentions be revealed quickly and so clearly that nobody can deny the truth and those who You gave the authority to will know immediately and take care of the situation. I place hedges of protection around Elaine, Laura, Cynthia and I so that those who wish to do us harm cannot. Let no weapon formed against us propser! Remove all obstacles between us and stable, gainful employment. If it is Your will that any of us leave our current jobs, let that happen with no loss of dignity or disruption of income. Protect Elaine, Laura, Cynthia and I from those who wish to use our workplaces to do evil. In Jesus' precious and might name I pray. Amen!

Elaine and Mariposa,

Thank you for praying for me. I am remembering you in my prayers also. One of the girls causing me trouble at work is being transferred to another store. She is being promoted, but her blessing is also a blessing to me. Also, I have an opportunity to get a new job at a credit union that a fellow college student works at. She said I can use her name as a reference and I mailed my resume out today. The hours are better and I'm assuming the atmosphere will be more respectable and professional. I would really like God to bless me with this better job. Let me know how things are going for you both at work.

Lilly, I am so happy for you with the person leaving for another job and for your chance of a new job. Things seem to be changing here, but for the worse. The main person who is working against me and going behind my back to my boss is now moving into my office. She says it is permanent but I haven't been told that by my boss. It was my impression that she would only be here to work on a new program and then would be going somewhere else, possibly to another branch in a different town. Please pray that this will happen or that GOD will provide me a new job. I love working here but I don't know how much more of this I can handle. Please keep me in your prayers and I will you also.

Elaine and Lily,
Amanda has been stepping up her nonsense, but has also been making more enemies. Cynthia's boss, the guy who told us we had to hire her, will be in next week and it looks like he's reaching his Amanda threshold. She either calls or e-mails him about every little thing that doesn't go her way. Some of the other managers have also had enough of her, because she stirs up garbage throughout the building. She is wearing out her welcome, but we can't terminate Amanda until Tom, Cynthia's boss, sees the truth about her. I pray that will be next week, when he comes to our office for some meetings. I am still scheduled to be hired permanently by the end of March. I love my job and have a great boss, but Amanda is a handful.

Let's continue to pray for each other, and hopefully see breakthroughs soon. Lily, I do hope you get that new job. It sounds wonderful for you!

Dear Heavenly Father,
I lift Lily, Elaine and I to You in prayer, seeking Your favor at work. I place a hedge of protection around all of us, and stand on Your word in Isaiah that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. Reveal those who are doing the evil and either remove them from our workplaces or move us into better ones. May those who You will to leave what they currently have move on without disruption of income or loss of dignity. Please show those with authority in these situations the truth. Remove the blinders of deceit and give them Your clarity of vision in seeing who is causing the trouble and how to stop it.

Lord, Your word says that you don't give us any more that we can handle, but it is getting harder by the day. Please bless us with the strength, grace and wisdom to deal with these trials as You wish. Show us what You want us to do.

Thank You for protecting us thus far and for what You will do for us in the workplace. I claim stable employment, a peaceful working environment and financial solvency for Lily, Elaine and I. In Jesus' mighty name I pray and praise You. Amen!

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for making Amanda quiet and less antagonistic. I pray that she will feel convicted of her sins and know Your presence in her life as well. Thank You for today's peace at work and may we have even more peaceful days.

I pray You will speak to Tom, the man who made us hire Amanda. Show him the truth about the situation. May the Holy Spirit show him the truth about the situation with Amanda. We've felt peace a couple times before with her, but it's usually been the calm before the storm. May the current peace be lasting so we can glorify You and be productive workers. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

On Ash Wednesday, I felt the Lord telling me, "Let this go and let me take care of it," repeatedly. During church, I released this situation to Him as He requested. This was after Cynthia's boss started an audit, based on information Amanda gave him.

Tom found out that most of the "problems" he felt the need to check on were fabrications. He'd come from Wisconsin with a list of "issues" that needed checking on. Strangely enough, the "problems" on the list were all things Amanda had complained to Cynthia about within the past week. Amanda also tried to say that I was being extremely rude to her, when the truth is I'd been avoiding contact with her so that the rest of the company wouldn't witness any infighting.

After an audit and some intense questions, we were given a "clean bill of health." I'm so glad God told me to get out of the way! He was true to His word in Matthew 10, "uncovering that which is covered." The truth about many matters has been revealed and healing can begin. I thank God for His handling of my workplace situation and will continue to keep out of His way whenever He tells me to.

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the work You have done thus far in my workplace, and may You grant favor to all the others who work in difficult work situations. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
