Dear Brother in christ,
i am 30 years male. My hairs are falling. and mostely i have become bald. but i know and belive that god can do miracle to get it back even it does not happen by the medical science. Please pray for me

Thank you Father, You said you know the number of hairs on our head. It is not the hairs on we are worried about it is about the ones falling off.

We pray for the 2 - 3 thousand that fell off to be raised from the dead.

Now Jesus to some this prayer may seem funny but to others it is not.

We speak life, thank you Lord for allowing us to ask.

I am in agreement to My hair is thinning also in the back from always wearing a hat, thank you Jesus for healing are hairs and growing it all back where there are dead hairs, we recieve a full head of hair now!!

Oh, this is funny.
I remember once complaining about my low testosterone levels which are proven to be unhealthy for males and when I asked for prayers Jerry told me that I am vain. But praying for hair is okay, that's not vain..... That makes me angry.

But I prayed for your hair,christysam.
May it grow faster than ever.

Oh Lord Jesus, I lift up Frederik to You. I pray, Lord, that you touch Frederik and heal him. Raise his testosterone levels to a normal level Lord Jesus. Replace his worry with Your peace that IT WILL BE DONE. You are the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Just as You healed with the touch of Your hand, the sound of Your voice healed those in other towns, and the brush of Your robe, that same power is flowing through Your people today. Lord I just ask that You speak the words, YOU ARE HEALED, FREDERIK, curing him of whatever is causing his low testosterone levels. Since when did any form of request for prayer become humorous? And when did any need make a person vain? You all aren't very funny. You have much to learn, especially you Mr. Gaffney, Christ is watching. Be careful where and how you lead the flock, "because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly" ... "in your teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned."

I've been watching your dealings with people. You should be more cautious. God's children are easily harmed and led astray.

Without meaning to add any dissension, why can't offering prayers be humorous? This man requested prayer, he received a genuine outpouring of prayer, by some who understand exactly what he's going through. Do you think God's not going to answer this prayer because people enjoyed the humorous side of it?

I've had some very serious prayer requests, but I've had my sisters in Christ look at me, and try to pray with straight faces, and were completely unable to do so. So we all ended up laughing, and praising God, and the prayers were answered.

I think you do more disrespect to this request by your comments toward Jerry than anyone did by anything else. If you disagree with how he runs this board, or his comments, perhaps you should pm him instead, and keep this thread for the people who want to feel God, enjoy God, and lift up our brothers and sisters in prayer.

Father God, I lift up Christy to you now, and pray that you do restore his hair, whether by supernatural means, or by providing financially for him so that he can receive treatment. I also lift up Frederik and pray that you restore his hormonal balances to normal. And Father, bless us all with the ability to love each other well, not to take ourselves seriously, and in everything, give you the glory. In Jesus' name, Amen.

"Prophet" lighten up. This world is painful and hard enough without added and unwarranted admonishments. Jesus is the most authoritative and the most joyful Person, laughter is good for the soul and this thread is hilarious. I received a good laugh. In addition, the loss of hair is not exactly life and death, it happens all the time. But may God grant my brother a head of hair like Samson.


Oh and Frederick, I pray that God will heal your body and fill you with the joy and knowledge of Himself like you have never known.

That laugh is hilarious!!!!!! Lighten up "prophet". It's good to laugh and have a good time with each other. I'm sure the Lord laughs with us. Jerry is a great leader and should be able to joke around too!!

I thought that was hilarious! But there's a truth in it for me too, that crying baby. Sometimes I get down about things that don't matter, like a child might cry over not getting a third cookie. I pray that each person who wants more hair begins to pray for other people who need more hair. I pray that anyone who laughs at anyone, to make fun of them, who doesn't have any (or much) hair, gets attacked by a she-bear just like the story in the Bible, see 2Kings 2:23.

A lot of men PAY to have their heads shaved and bald. And quite frankly, they look very nice like that!
Please be happy with what you have (or don't have-ha!ha!)
You can look very good with no hair-take my word for it.
It's all how you handle it.
Sometimes change is good, especially if it humbles you or gives you a better attitude.
Life constantly changes and so do looks-learn to handle it and you'll remain happy.
Be glad if you still have teeth!!!!

Dear Lord,
I pray that you will help this man be happy and accept changes. Let him know change is good. Use change to make his walk with you better and his life happier. It will definitely be worth losing the hair for this to be accomplised!

It's good to laugh, but when people make light of a serious thing (that really cripples your self-esteem) it's hard to laugh sometimes. I'm plagued with hairloss too. The pics are funny but I'm hurting so much right now because of my own hairloss, that I couldn't laugh (wish I could!!)

Lord It is written that You know the number of hairs on our head. You are always watching over us and thinking about EVERYTHING that concerns us. Lord hear the plea of this man and restore him with a head full of hair. If his hair loss is a medical problem, lead him to a doctor that may be able to treat his condition as well as his hairloss. I can relate, I am a woman who lost close to half of her hair due to a chronic illness. I also had severe anemia. When I lost my hair, I also lost my self-esteem. Anemia, thyroid, alopecia, hormone imbalances, stress, as well as other medical conditions may cause hairloss. Have your doctor check it out, and keep praying. With most conditions, once treated the hair does grow back. Mine is now starting to grow back.

I have to tell you that I stumbled on this today before I left for work. what a hoot. I want to say that there are those who felt that we should not be humorous in prayer. HAH! I truly believe the LOrd has a sense of humour and he shows it to me all the time.
I too need prayer for hair loss and I feel it is a vanity thing yes, I feel that being a woman it may be a bit harder to be loosing ones hair, and to have bald spots showing. Thanks

I didn't realize this is also fun...dont mistake me I am not laughing at your expense but I do find it refreshing that some of the people here found God's(?) humor in the situation. Anyway, I will pray for you. And may I suggest you try using fresh aloe vera juice? I had this habit before of pulling my already sparse hair and created a bunch of "moon walks" on my head (gulp) then I used it...mircaculously, the hair grew back. Aloe is a miracle plant and God created it for us, try it...Meantime I will pray it will work for you as well, although am sure it will

Dear Friend,

I know it is a scary thing that you are going through. Five years ago....I had alopecia areata. They said there was no cure. I was 25 and a female...and had spots on my head where my hair fell out.

I prayed fervently as I didn't want to wear a wig. It came back much like a babies hair...and it stuck out on the large spot on the side. It looked like that baby Jerry sent on the baby food jar!

That is part of my testimony. During that time....I thought my life was over! I tell you it was very real to me.

Later....a five year old little girl moved in next door with Alopecia Areata Universalis. She had no eye brows...eyelashes...or hair.

Hers came back with the help of Rogain and steroids. It humbled me I tell you. I was so grateful that The Lord decided to redeem my hair problem.

I just had a baby...and my hair started to fall out again...but once again...it grew back. Praise God....I'm a woman so I need my hair.

~Dear Lord.....I pray that you heal this man. I pray Father...that you at least allow him to know that you are very concerned about his situation.

Thank-you for allowing me to draw closer to you even in the face of hair! Thank-you for your sense of humor....your so awesome!

Father I pray for those with needs father, touch these people and give them their hearts desires. Even in the small things of life you are bigger then anything. Father I pray for this man who is need of your touch. Father when you replace his hair make it to be as if it were always their. Help the man who needs a T level raiseing. Give them their desires Lord and then remind them that you were the Giver and to be Truly thankful. In Jesus Name, Amen

I do not believe they were saying the request were funny, if Jesus did not want us to be able to laugh with one another why would have made it to where we can. Laughter makes us smile and smiles are the way to happiness. May God Bless

I pray for you. Physical things that may seem vain to some affect our emotional well being and that is why the Lord can help you.

Remember that the Lord encourages us to seek medical attention besides praying. There are many modern techniques that can help you get your hair back. Trust the Lord.

Please also pray for my father, Jesus Ramos, who has lung cancer and will lose his hair too because of the radiation to his head, but pray not for his hair but for his physical healing of his cancer.

May the Lord be with you.

can you pray for me? I want a beard like Jesus.I cannot grow any mustache for example , this annoys me there's no real hair growing on my upper lip, I don't know why.I want a beard like Jim Caviezel had in the passion, his beard looked so cool.

Hi, everyone!! Well, I've been on medication for depression for 2 years, and for a while, it seemed like the latest change my doctor made at the beginning of April was working real well, but now, I'm having some really down days again, where I can hardly get out of bed to face the "real world". Please pray that God will either heal me of the depression, or help my doctor find some medication that will work for longer than just a few weeks. Thanks!!!!

Hello, Christysam! I'm new to this board, and have just begun to read some of the prayer requests... yours is one of the first I stumbled upon, so I decided to reply. I feel for you that you're losing most of your hair, but I truly believe the LORD has so much more in mind with this situation. After all, we do grow/mature through the trials we encounter here in the world. Also to keep in mind is, the enemy tries to put thoughts in our head that are going to trip us up in our walk with the LORD. It's important to remember that OUR LORD JESUS has already won that battle when he laid HIS life and shed HIS BLOOD upon the cross for us. I will say a prayer for you right now, dear...

Father God... I come before you right now asking that you will perform a miracle in Christysam's life and grow his hair back, Father, according to your will. You are in control, and we are in your capable hands, Lord, and you have promised us that you will never give us more then we can handle, and I pray right now, Lord, that if your will is for Christysam to regrow his hair, that YOU will make that possible supernaturally. If it is not your will, then, Father, I ask that you give him the acceptance to live his life free of worry about his loss. And, Lord, remind him that he is loved by YOU, LORD - the kind of love that surpasses all understanding and that he does not need worldly approval, but that he already has YOURS!!!!!!!!!!! Christysam, as a side note: my dearest friend is about to lose her eyesight in one of her eyes. She is already half blind in one eye, and about to lose sight completely, so she is undergoing some pretty heavy-duty treatment with cortizone. She is not guaranteed that this will work. But, she is still thanking HIM and she keeps telling me that the LORD has something good in mind with this ~ what a GREAT attitude. She is an inspiration to me!!!!!!! Think on that, Christysam!!!! And, may GOD BLESS YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I came to this board today to request healing for my hair loss, when I stubbled onto this post. I am a 26 year old FEMALE and my hair is coming out in chunks. Doctors can't explain it. I am scared, embarrassed, and angry about it.

I believe in the Lord's healing power and I pray that it be made manifest in our lives. Let his glory fill our bodies, making them vibrant and health, with our hair growing full and healthy as a witness to this.

I have to confess, when I first saw this thread, I thought "Great, I could use a new head of hair!!". But now, whenever I see a picture of myself when I was a youth with a nice, thick head of hair, it seems as if I have too much! It looks almost phony to me now. I've gotten so used to seeing myself with thinning hair, I guess it would look almost foreign to me if I suddenly had a full head of hair again. And really, there are many more important things to request healing for, like if you're in chronic pain, or if you have a life threatening illness. However, just because I've gotten used to seeing myself with sparse hair, I won't judge those of you who feel uncomfortable looking that way. God bless!!

Father, I ask you to help these men to see that bald is beautiful and not buy into society's lies. In Jesus Name. I am 32 and my husband has been going bald since he was 20. He is still as handsome as when I married him and I wouldn't trade his bald head for a head full of hair for anything.

Lord,
We are vein, and I would not like to loose my hair either. They complain because my hair is too thick. Remember, Father when I came out of the long coma and did not know me in the mirror. From cold black to silver and grey. Hum, hum, hum. I guess it must feel a lot like no hair. Well, I guess the one thing I read on the internet and told my doctor was-why is my hair starting to fall out? He said he did not know. I read up on it on the net and it falls out when your thyroid stops working, and you also gain weight.

I had a client and I went to visit her and she was fine. Three weeks later, I went back to visit, and horror of horror, she hardly had any hair. I took her to the skin doctor, who has been bawl every since I have known him over 40 years ago. Well, The lady had to start washing her hair three times a week, and gradually weaned off the medicine. REALLY, her hair came back.

I see those little ball heads. Maybe, a cup of tea will help. My mom's friend says a cup of tea is good for anything that ails you. I think you do need a hat though.

Well, I've been on medication for depression for 2 years, and for a while, it seemed like the latest change my doctor made at the beginning of April was working real well, but now, I'm having some really down days again, where I can hardly get out of bed to face the "real world". Please pray that God will either heal me of the depression, or help my doctor find some medication that will work for longer than just a few weeks. Thanks!!!!

Lord I pray for this person to be guided by you in spirit and mind. I pray that you will heal them and help them to see that a lot of what they are going through you are there and you are holding them. Help them to find the strength and counciling, even if it is just a friend to talk to. Show them your love and compassion. this I pray in Jesus name, Amen.
