Prayer for our country

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come to You today, Lord, to ask that You bring a revival across our land. The news is filled with such heartache, such devastation, such filth anymore. This isn't the way our country was founded, and we know it isn't Your Will for it to be this way. Lord, I pray that You will move in a mighty way, bringing rememberance to our minds, the way You meant for our lives (our country) to be. Give us the strength, the courage, the boldness to stand up for what is right, and turn away from the things that are not pleasing to You. Let us take hold of Your Word and stay true to the values it holds. Let us stand together as a praying people, to lift up our leaders, our service men and women, to ask Your blessings upon our land. Protect and keep us Lord. Bring us back to Your ways. I thank You and I praise You Father!!!

Father, in the Name of Jesus, please hear our prayers for each of our countries. We are one body of believers and we have our eyes on You. For those of us who are following, we ask for Your ways and Your thoughts. For those of us who are soon to be introduced to You, be our Rock of Salvation and our hope.

Let us not walk in blasphemy any longer and let the filth be sifted out of our flesh. Let us speak things that lift each other up, and remind us to encourage one another as we walk.

We know who nailed You to the cross, Jesus. We all did. Every race, every tribe, every tongue, every nation. Thank You for forgiving us, because we really didn't know what we were doing.

We thank You for mercy and favor, though none of us deserve it. We thank You for considering us, as small as we are. We thank You for turning what was meant for our hurt, to our good.

Can words really express what our hearts are feeling when we are hiding in Your love? I guess so. That's why You are written about in so many languages. Thank You for Your Word, and thank You for Your Spirit, Who gives us understanding. Thank You for the Water that washes us and makes us clean, and for the Blood which is upon us and all of our children.

How great is Your love? How wonderful are Your ways? How beautiful is Your face? How revealing is Your Spirit?

We exalt Your Name forever, and ever, and ever, and ever.....Amen.

Lord God,
Forgive this nation, for it claims that it is Christian, and yet it allows evil doers to over come our government, not for what we christians are saying, but because of many Christians who say nothing. Please, Lord would you touch them with your touch of truth and make them aware that it is their responsibility to sign petitions, and also we in touch with what is taking place in this nation, not just the war. Show us what you want us to do, and may we not disappoint you when we feel you heavy leading on our hearts and do not respond.

Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus in agreement with my brothers and sisters to pray for this nation. I ask Father that your goodness be revealed unto every one of us your children, and that such a hunger and thirst for righteousness grip our heart, and a hunger for souls to be won into the Knigdom of God that we cry out to you until the glory of God is covering our nation. We ask for mercy for our nation, Father, and that the Holy Spirit hover over this nation to bring conviction and repentance like we have never seen before, according to your word in 2 Chronicles 7:14. Fill us with compassion Lord, and give us the boldness to stand in the face of the enemy and declare the wonderful works of God, as well as preach the uncompromising word to those around us. Give us understanding and revelation knowledge of the awesome love that you have for this nation, and the whole world, and give us the wisdom to yield to the leading of the Holy Spirit in all things. Thank you for deliverance for this nation, and for a mighty outpouring of your Spirit on all flesh. We praise you and give you all the glory in Jesus name!!

Father,

I cannot say any prayer, any better than my brothers and sisters in this postalready have. All i can do is my part, Lord, to humble myself before you, and pray, because i am one of your people, i am a part of the body of Christ. Lord in Jesus name help my body to function properly, to work with my brothers and sisters, let there be unity in our spirits Lord that We WILL hear from heaven and You Will heal our Great land once again. Lord wake me, open my heart to obey Your call. Let Us listen, that we Will here from You today. Help us to realize that we are the salt of the earth and if we loose our savor then we are of no worth. Fill us with confidence in YOU and every precious Word that You left for us to follow. Fill us with Boldness, that we should go forth and proclaim the gospel in our own place in life that You have each one of us. Lord let us look each day, to remove the beam in our own eyes instead of trying to remove splinters out of our brothers. Renew our minds that we should always seek YOU FIRST ! Lord i pray, Your Will be done on earth as it is in HEAVEN.
