Something strange happened

Tonight I had a strange dream. I dreamed that I was sleeping in my room, it was pretty realistic. There was no sound and then suddenly I heard something and thought that God is there and then I felt that a hand touched me and my whole body became hot but it didn't feel good at all. It was like I couldn't breathe. While this happened I thought in my head "Is it finally happening now ? Am I finally touched by God now ?" But it didn't feel good, it was scary. And then I woke up.
I don't know what to think of this, I mean I have never dreamed something where I also really felt something and it was like the warmth was real. But why didn't it feel good ? It felt suppressing. I even thought about wether it was the devil who touched me but I don't think he could do that, could he ?
But God wouldn't touch me in a dream, would he ? And where was the sense of it ? Besides the warmth nothing else happened.
But I'm sure it was just a dream, the whole dream seemed rather like a nightmare.

First of all Federik, if God ever touches you...you would know that it was Him that did it. There would be no questioning it. Secondly, when God touches you it will give you a sense of peace. You may fear the Lord, but you would be fully aware that you are in His presence.

Yes, I totally agree with you. If it had been God then I wouldn't even have to ask myself who it was. But what if it was Satan ? Can he touch me while I'm asleep ?

you will have another encounter some time in a dream with God but this time you will know that you know it is him because he is going to look you in the face and say your name and you will know his voice, personally I believe it was God reason being when this person touched you, you said you felt warmth and fire this was his anointing real strong evidently, Gods presence can get so strong where you almost cant breathe it happens to me a lot from being in so much of his glory reason being your flesh man is not made to expierence that much of God, he was filling you and your body didnt know what to do or how to react because it has never happened to you, when you get under the anointing or are truely touched by God powerfully, you will not be able to stand in his presence and your body will start to do things because of his presence being so strong, you got scared in the dream because you cant believe there was that much power flowing through your body and couldnt comprehend it, you couldnt believe that was God because there was so much power that was filling you, all will be well you will learn dont worry about it, I believe you will have more of these dreams, God is trying to get your attention and touch you in these dreams let him

2. I don't think it was real, it was like a nightmare and it was just a dream, that's all. First I heard this noise and then the hand came, that's typical for a nightmare.

Frederik, the Lord will never leave you nor forsake you. Please hang on to that promise. The enemy only has as much ground as YOU allow him to have in your life. He can not harm you physically, he can not kill you. Satan does not hold the keys to death.

The Bible says to be anxious for nothing, but in everything with prayer and supplication let your requests be made known to God.

If you are worried about this all you have to do is pray. Keep God close and remove things from your life that He would not want you to have there.

I imagine it could have been a form of an attack (from the enemy), something to bring you down, get you discouraged. Maybe seeds had been planted in your head a day or a few days prior to the dream that caused you to have the nightmare. Or maybe you have just had a lot on your mind.

This is wierd because i had a very similar dream about a weak ago. I was on my bed, same as you. I felt invisible hands reaching into my chest cavity. They felt evil and i knew that they were demons. I was trying to rebuke them, but every time i did they only went back a few inches and quikly came back... then i woke up. I was scared and I think it was a warning to get my life right with the Lord. I dont think it was just a dream. A little too similar to be a coincidence.

I can only tell you my experience, Frederik not whether this is from God or not......for me, when I am encountered in a dream by God or am about to have a vision, I have had similar experience as what You said. HOWEVER, my fear is a Godly kind of fear. Like reverance and well, fear of not being worthy to be in God's presence.....but there is a peace that surrounds it. Like about a month ago I was visited by demons.....and I was WIDE awake, not dreaming. I could only see one of them, but I could SENSE the rest. I have no idea how many there were. I started praying and felt this INTENSE HEAT. I have been touched by God and felt heat, but BODY WAS ON FIRE I TELL YOU, but I wasn't even thinking about that. I was just in the presence of the Lord, and knew it, and rebuked the devil. There have been a couple of times, that I am being attacked and when I start to rebuke the devil and pray, I suddenly am in a different place....it isn't asleep but it isn't fully awake either. The Lord will reveal something to me, and then when I awaken, I am usually praying in the Spirit.

Like what has already been said, you would know it if you were in God's presence. And it could be a little scary since it would be your first time experiencing it.....but God's presence IS NOT SUPPRESSING or OPPRESSING.....HOWEVER FREDERIK, if you are being attacked by Satan, rest assured that YOUR LORD GOD is planning something. Satan doesn't know what, but he knows THERE ARE MANY MANY people on this site praying for God to touch you mightily. Satan is not liking it one bit. Satan is attacking quite a few people on this site.......I SAY PRAISE GOD!!!!!!!! Get in SATAN'S FACE AND TELL HIM THAT YOU ARE GOING TO EXPERIENCE THIS TOUCH THAT YOU DESIRE!! It is coming Frederik!!!!

Lord God! WOW PRAISE YOUR HOLY HOLY NAME!! I am almost in tears with what you are doing in Frederick's life. I am so overcome with emotion just knowing how powerful you are. Lord God, Frederik so desires YOU. HE IS SEARCHING AND WANTS YOU TO TOUCH HIM! Precious Father, I bow before Your throne and lift him up to you......I THANK YOU LORD BECAUSE I KNOW YOU ARE WORKING! I praise You Lord and expectantly wait to see what you are doing in this amazing man's life. Raise him up Lord to be the man that YOU desire him to be. Thank You Lord. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!! I would suggest that you walk around your house, in and out of all of the rooms, and PRAY OUT SCRIPTURES of blessings, protection, and peace. Claim the blood of Jesus over your dwelling. I even have a cross and a picture of Jesus praying in the garden of Gethsemane on the outside of my home. This blesses me and everyone who passes by as well In fact recently a christian gentleman entered my home right after I had just been speaking/praying out scriptural blessings and he unknowingly commented on what a good feeling my house had to it. You could also ask the Lord to give you more revelation about what you experienced, and ask God right now to send your guardian angels to your side to keep you safe from all harm whether your asleep or awake.


God bless and keep you always Frederik. And watch out for what you watch on TV, the news, and the movies-some of that trash would give anyone bad dreams.

Maybe it isn't from God. All I know is, YOU CAN feel God's presence in dreams. This is timely. Just yesterday morning I dreamed I was face to face with Jesus, and I FELT Him. It's hard to explain the feeling. I just felt so close to Him, so FULL of Him. I have NEVER before EVER had a dream in which I was visisted by God, but in this one I was. And, YES, I felt something. It was an awesome feeling, an indescribable feeling....the phone rang and woke me up. I was SO disappointed!!!

Benny Hinn said he has felt God's presence in such a way that he thought he would disinigrate. It was so overpowering, he literally thought his flesh would have to disinigrate. I would not rule out that God touched you in that dream. I never thought you could feel anything in a dream either, but I just did yesterday morning. You have never been in God's presence, so it might be scarey. In fact, Tommy Tenney said if God REALLY showed up in all his glory, we would be on our faces in repentence. Remember, most who met God in the Bible (or even an angel) fell on their faces in fear.

Do what I always do, though, when I hear a voice speaking to me, and I want to know if it's me or the devil. I say, "I put every word under the blood of Jesus." Put this dream under the blood of Jesus.

Lord, I pray that You touch Federik when he is awake. Touch him in such a way that he KNOWS it's You. Remove all doubt about it when it happens and send total assurance that it's really You. Thankyou for the awesome way You plan to touch him.

I'm really scared of sleeping right now, I'm scared that this could happen again. In also heard from people which suddenly woke up at night and Satan was in their bedroom ! Imagine that !
This would freak me out, I don't want him to come to my room, would God allow this ?

Don't even think such thoughts! What our thoughts dwell on is what we draw to us! Cast out that doubt and focus your mind on Jesus.

amen you are getting my point, here is what you do with satan when he confronts you, smile at him and do not be moved by what he looks like or smells like or what posture of hatred he gives off or intimidation, all is weak and vile and defeated, instead stare boldly into his face with the authority Jesus has given you over him and say this " My Jesus ripped you in half on the cross with his blood, the Lord rebuke thee in Jesus name, the anointing smites you in Jesus name, the fire of God consumes you in Jesus name, the blood of Jesus is against you in Jesus name, No weapon formed against me shall prosper in Jesus name, If God is for me who can be against me, Greater is he who is in me than he who is in the world, for God has not given me a spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind, the blood, the blood, the blood of Jesus rips you in half satan, be bound now with the chains of the Holy Spirit and right now be lead away by the Holy Spirit to be thrown into the pit where you belong, we have the victory in Jesus mighty name, To God be the glory, we love you Jesus" let a mantle of anointing and the Lion of Judah come on you when coming against satan it will say all that and you will have the victory everytime when confronted by satan, the more satan gets mad the more you keep doing it, because when he gets mad that shows it is working in what you are saying to him so keep doing it, DO NOT be afraid of a defeated foe who was ripped in half by the blood of Jesus on the cross an he always knows it , also walk in the authority Jesus has given you over the whole demonic relam and satan himself, and do not be afraid in what he can do, but rather be in boldness of what Jesus can do against him withhis word and with all the angels of heaven in coming against him, man you got me riled up praise God

It's SO important to cleanse ourselves with, and cover ourselves with the Blood of Jesus. Whenever we go about our daily business we can come into contact with or be faced with different spirits. We can subconsciosly 'absorb' various thoughts imposed upon us, or see something, hear something, think something, that is impure or contrary to Gods Word. satan is stalking us all the time, and will use every sort, form and instance to sneak his way into our minds. All these things can have an influence upon us.
There's no need to walk around in a constant state of fear, because we know from God's Word that He who is in us is stronger than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4 ), but it is important to cleanse ourselves with the Blood of Jesus, EVERY day, and also to cover ourselves with His Blood.
I've always done this with my daughter who's now ten, nearly eleven, since she began having nightmares when she was little. We always ask the Lord to cleanse us, and to bless and protect our dreams with His Blood. It works !! satan is a master at grabbing every chance he can to influence us or scare us, or at least get our minds off Jesus. Our greatest weapons are the Blood of the Lamb, the Word and the name of Jesus.
Cleanse and cover yourself every night before you go to bed with the Blood of Jesus Frederick, ask God to bless your dreams.

One night as he was sleeping, he awoke to see satan sitting at the end of his bed.
Well, what would YOU do ?????

Martin Luther King just looked at him, said 'Oh , it's you," rolled over and went back to sleep.



Well i dunno if i would be able to do that, but this man KNEW satan has NO chance....... if only we could be totally aware of the power of Jesus.

What does Satan do in our bedrooms at night ? I mean doesn't he have anything more important to do ? Why doesn't he make some coffee instead of simply sitting there ?
By the way the story of King sounds very much made up, I wanna see him stay cool when Satan sits at his bed. Why didn't he describe how he looked ?

Frederick....you need to claim Gods promises...GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN YOU THAN HE THAT IS IN THE WORLD...satan is no match for Jesus and He lives in you so you have nothing to fear but fear itself and fear is the greatest weapon satan has in using against us...the more we fear the less of a threat we are to satan...and the more he can control us...but we have to let him control us he has no power over us as believers....we need to be wise and to know what the bible teaches us....satan can appear as an angel of light and we need to test the spirits....rebuke him in the name of Jesus....say I rebuke you satan in the name of jesus christ my lord and saviour and I command you to leave my presence....keep claiming Gods promises and look them up in the word and study them....satan is trying to destroy gods people....but jesus has already won the battle....amen

My oldest son is a second year college student now. He said when he was little and went to bed, sometimes he got scared. He said he would lay on his pillow, pull the covers up over his head and sing Jesus Loves Me over and over again until he fell asleep.

Now he puts his armor on. Father in the Name of Jesus, I ask You to cover me with the blood of Christ, put on the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, let my feet be shod with the gospel of Christ, give me the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, and a shield of faith to withstand all the fiery darts of Satan, for example.

God knows what His armor looks like, so I would only repeat it enough to myself to understand how well covered I am when I go to sleep. Also, a hedge of protection is a good thing to ask for.

You can be completely covered by prayer. There is no reason for You to not be able to sleep at night. God made all the boogie men and He will keep them all off of You if you ask in Jesus' Name.

I agree also about anointing the doorways in your house. Just put any kind of oil (just enough to moisten) on your thumb. Touch the frame lightly and say, "In Jesus' Name".

If a spirit of heaviness is in your house, or you are having a hard time with other afflictions, praise music will pretty much clear that out. I guess demons just don't want to hear it!
