Ok i saw the post about Children learn to hate and kill and I said it has nothing to do with religion... and some said OH my god how bad.... but if you all look at your own smilies.... what are they doing, shooting to kill and some smilie hit and its blood all over (or what ever it is)....

I dont think you (general you) should talk what other doing when the smilies here represent kill and hate.

???

What you say is VERY confusing. Do you mind clarifying? I would hate to get the wrong impression from what I THINK your post states.

easy those smilies are used to rip in half the devil and we love it you should try it, and quit hiding when you post like you dont want people to know you are on, you say something then you hide.. God bless also quit running from God say this prayer:
Jesus I leave my whole life in your hands and give it to you the best I know how, I confess unto you all my secret sins all my open sins, every sin; forgive me of all my sins in the past, present and future, I recieve your gift of salvation in what you did on the cross for me into my heart now and forever more, come into my heart as Saviour and Lord forever, write my name in the Lambs book of Life and make me your child now forever in you Jesus, the best I know how I will follow you and listen to you and let your will be done and not mine, I lay down all my burdens and sorrows and pain and leave it all in your hands, You are Lord of my life and I am not so I will step out of the way and let you be Lord and watch you do mighty and wonderful things in my life Amen!!!

I have noticed that when something bad happens we blame the devil. As opposed to focusing on a problem that can be dealt with non-spiritually

It's not so much that we blame the devil, but that we recognize that Satan IS the root of all evil (contrary to pop culture). We also have to recognize, that though the root of evil is of the devil, we have to take resposiblilty for our own actions and repent. Repent is not just confessing sin and wrong doing, but making a turnaround from that sin and back towards God.

All I can say is that I feal very sorry for you. You are abviously very unhappy. If your not saved, most people are out partying or something that they see as having a good time. You have nothing better to do than to bash a christian net. service, and believers in general. I too was where you are. I wasn't happy either. I tried drinking, witchcraft, men and even took sleeping pills to end my life two times. I now have given my life to Jesus since I haven't done so well on my own. He can turn the mess you've made of your life into a life of happyness and satisfaction. If your car broke down in front of the "GM" plant, would ya fix it your self. Or would you let the people that built it fix it. God gave you your life, so let him fix it. We only make a mess of things, that he has to clean up for us. Thats why I just gave my life to god. Let him worry about it and fix it up. Try it, you might like it. I'm glad I'm the banana. Praise god.

The Lord our God provides to all of his children provided that we come and ask through our interssor Jesus Christ the one who died for all of our sins.

I think I understand what you are saying. You are just pointing out to us that some of our little icons are questionable.

I never thought of it that way.

I think that bob_the_fat has a point.

It can happen that we blame things on the enemy that need to be resolved in the natural.

We can say that the devil does things, but it may be our less than wise choices that have us in a bind.

I think he has a point. We need to check ourselves now and then. I'm going to.

And to an outsider I'll bet those smilies do look violent.

The fact is, satan puts thoughts in our minds. But... it is up to us to decided which thoughts we go with- God's or satan's. "Smilies"- I don't see the violence so much as what they stand for- working to snuff out satan's negative workings against God's good works. Lastly- When become saved and reborn, God gives that child the Holy Spirit within them to help them work to become more "Christ like" over time. Trust me, it won't happen over nite. We all trip and fall, everyone does. But, we need to get back up and keep trying. Thats the point. Take care and God Bless!
