I am asking for prayer for guidance in search for work. I have worked as a lay missionary in Haiti and Central America in the past. One pastor has told me he thinks I should start a non-profit for work in Haiti. Another friend of deep prayer I trust said, "I would not be averse to you starting a non-profit." I am divorced with two wonderful teenaged sons in Baltimore, and after the three Persons of the Trinity, they come first. I trust Jesus and His promises, "If two or more agree in prayer, the Father will grant that request." matthew, 18:19. I know you agree that I see clearly the will of the Holy Spirit at this time in my life. As a delivery man or a plumber's helper I feel I'm wasting God-given talents. My spiritual director has said I should address the fact that menial labor feels like a waste of talents; he added you should address that issue "but not under pressure." While working as a lay missionary in Gonaives, Haiti, I felt like I was using all the talents God gave me right where I was supposed to be. But with two sons I couldn't stay there for more than a month at a time. I have a graduate degree in Spanish and was two classes from an M.A. in Theology when I had to stop for lack of money. But as a lay missionary I use the languages, Spanish and French, and I can do street evangelism.- I know whoever reads this would agree that I see the will of the Holy Spirit clearly, and have the courage to obey the Holy Spirit. I agree with you for every need in your life to be meet by the ONE who is our LORD and SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST.
Bless you brother, for your strenght and willingness to serve! Father, consume my brother in your Holy Spirit and let him swim in the rivers of Your love that flows from Your heart. Open doors before him Lord, let him find favor in the eyes of men, that they should give freely into his boosm. Give him the desires of Your heart for his life, Lord. Send angles to minister to his every need. Prosper his ways, that all that he does in Your name will be acomplished, and that no weapon formed against him shall prosper. Jesus, we thank You and Praise you, we give you all the Glory! amen. :
